From 1998 to 2007, Patton Oswalt was a regular on The King of Queens. The CBSsitcom starred Kevin Jamesand Leah Remini as working-class New York couple Doug and Carrie Heffernan, with comedy legend Jerry Stiller playing basement-dwelling father-in-law, Arthur Spooner. Oswalt played Spence Olchin, a self-deprecating high school friend of Doug's who worked in the subway as a token booth operator, where he sold MetroCards after tokens were phased out.

In December 2025, New York City's subway system permanently retired the swipeable cards in favor of OMNY (One Metro New York), a contactless payment system that allows riders to tap their credit card or smart device to pay fares. The described the retirement of the yellow MetroCards as "the end of an era." In The King of Queens era, it would have also marked a major change for Spence—and his job security.

Speaking with Clutchpoints in February 2026, Oswalt, 57, admitted that Spence probably wouldn't have liked the change if TheKing of Queens was still on the air.

"He would definitely rail against it," Oswalt told the outlet. "He would think that this is an era that is ending. But also, knowing Spence, he wouldn't do a whole lot about it. He would just kind of silently gripe, and then that'd be it."

'King of Queens' fans still recognize Spence

Oswalt, who stars in the new movie GOAT, became a fan favorite when he first appeared on The King of Queens more than 20 years ago. His beloved character still lives on in heavy syndication.

In a recent interview with ScreenRant, Oswalt revealed that he began getting noticed in public around "the fifth or sixth season of King of Queens," when the sitcom really hit its stride.

"Whenever I would go in someplace, people were just like, 'Spence!'" he shared, adding that his newfound fame felt "very, very surreal" at the time.

"I don't think that I'm like a Tom Hanks, but I'm one of those faces that's like, 'Oh, I've seen you in things.'" Oswalt noted. " And listen, that's the exact kind of career I want – that character-actor career. I want the Paul Giamatti career or the Tracy Walter career of like, 'Oh, there's that guy!'"

Patton Oswalt would join a 'King of Queens' reunion

Fans have been begging for a King of Queens reboot for years, but James has said that the death of key cast member Stiller makes the idea unlikely.

But before Stiller's 2020 death, Oswalt told Entertainment Weekly that he would totally be on board for an onscreen reunion with his KOQ co-stars.

"King of Queens, God, I had so much fun on that show," he said. "I love doing King of Queens. One, because it got me a house, and this show was where I learned how to act. Basically, I didn't really know how to act until I got to do scenes over and over again with Jerry Stiller and Kevin James and Leah Remini and Victor Williams."

At the time, Oswalt said he'd love to make a cameo on James' follow-up sitcom Kevin Can Wait, which added Remini to its second and final season. "Look, if they asked me back on to be on that show too, I would totally do that in a second!" the King of Queens alum said.

FX's Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette has taken the streaming world by storm with lead actress Sarah Pidgeon, who plays Bessette, at the helm.

Speaking to People in an interview published on Saturday, February 21, Pidgeon, 29, opens up about how Bessette's fashion influenced her portrayal of the late fashion icon.

"She was a private citizen until she got into this relationship with John [and was thrust into] the center of the public eye. So I think her clothing, it really helped inform the character," Pidgeon explains, referring to Bessette's whirlwind romance with John F. Kennedy Jr.

"My favorite pieces were the [Yohji] Yamamoto pieces she wore. And I'm not sure if she was aware of this, but Yamamoto describes designing clothing as armor for women," the Wilds actress continued.

"I think understanding — or at least my interpretation of her relation to the press — she was fiercely private, so I think it made so much sense, and you could feel it when you put the clothes on. It makes you stand in a different way, and it sort of holds you in and protects you," Pidgeon added.

While Pidgeon and Bessette no doubt look alike due to hair and makeup choices, the former said that ultimately, it was the wardrobe that "felt very transformative."

Kennedy and Bessette famously began dating in 1994 while the latter was a publicist for Calvin Klein. The pair later got engaged in 1995 and married on September 21, 1996. During their time together, their relationship was heavily scrutinized by the tabloids, as they were constantly being sought after for paparazzi coverage.

Their love story came to a tragic end on July 16, 1999, after Bessette and Kennedy died in a plane crash off the coast of Martha's Vineyard.

Despite the label of "the gamers," The Traitors is a very different type of social strategy show. You can't really chart momentum from round to round, with suspicions constantly changing. With the Traitors functioning as the main characters of the show, it's tough to segment out a "winner's edit." Heck, Lord Ivar Mountbatten and Dolores Catania have stood at the end of a season victorious, when they had less screentime than Lala. That said, there are only six players left going into Thursday's finale of The Traitors Season 4. The remaining Faithful are Johnny Weir, Mark Ballas, Maura Higgins and Tara Lipinski. Their job is to take down the dynamic duo of Traitors in Rob Rausch and Eric Nam. Will they be able to nail both Traitors and take home the prize money? Or will one — or both — cloaked men make it to the end?Ahead of the finale and reunion on Feb. 26, here's who we think is most likely to win The Traitors Season 4.

Who will win The Traitors Season 4?6. Tara Lipinski

Tara Lipinski on 'The Traitors'Euan Cherry/PEACOCK (Euan Cherry/PEACOCK)

With so much happening the last day, there are many different scenarios we can forecast for The Traitors finale. Almost all of them, however, do not involve Tara standing at the end. The Olympian has been professing to both the players and the camera how clueless she feels at this game. But some players feel like she may be putting on an act while, in actuality, she skates circles around them.Going into the Round Table last episode, Tara wanted to make an effort to stay in the background to not get saddled with the blame if she's wrong. But, of course, the best-laid plans are paved with good intentions. Natalie Anderson was livid when she backed off their communal suspicions of Rob, accusing her of "taking advantage" of her and manipulating her to set her up for failure. Now, of course we know that was not Tara's intention at all. But, going into the finale, Tara is far and away seen as one of the shadiest players. If she's not murdered at the start of next episode, I can't imagine she's not voted out at some point just to eliminate any uncertainty.

5. Mark Ballas

Mark Ballas on 'The Traitors'Euan Cherry/PEACOCK (Euan Cherry/PEACOCK)

The Dancing with the Stars legend ranks this low for one specific reason: I think he's getting murdered at the top of the finale. The dancer has been spinning in circles as of late, feeling like he has nobody left after losing his closest ally Kristen Kish. It seems like the two people he has the most trust in are Eric and Rob, which in theory means he could be someone easily kept around. But Mark also seems to be onto one of his traitorous allies, mentioning how Eric is acting too quiet to not be suspected. As much as the Traitors might feel they have him in their corner, there's also a good chance he could get wise and eventually turn on them. So, just as he echoed Kristen's feelings on Eric, he may suffer the same fate as well.

4. Johnny Weir

Johnny Weir on 'The Traitors'Euan Cherry/PEACOCK (Euan Cherry/PEACOCK)

Between The Traitors and the Winter Olympics, Peacock subscribers have gotten plenty of Johnny and Tara commentary the past couple of weeks. We've seen Johnny become public enemy number one due to his association with Traitor Candiace Dillard Bassett. As a result, he came clean about his incredibly tight relationship with Tara, helping seemingly clear his name. Now he walks into the finale with not only his number one ally, but also completely correct reads on who the Traitors are.The issue is, he has the wind blowing against him. There's a good chance that he gets murdered, wanting to break up the figure skating pair but keep in the bigger smokescreen in Tara. Even if he and Tara both survive to the Round Table, Eric, Rob and Maura would be a locked-in bloc that carry the day on any vote. The best chance Johnny has of winning is if Mark is murdered, Tara gets banished, and he is able to somehow get Maura on his side to take out both Eric and Rob. Otherwise, his game is practically put on ice.

3. Eric Nam

Eric Nam on 'The Traitors'Euan Cherry/PEACOCK (Euan Cherry/PEACOCK)

The man with the "magic" ear has been very much seen and not heard during his time in the castle. Of course, a major reason for that the past couple of episodes is because of his traitorous heel turn, recruited by Rob to join him in the turret. Paranoid to say or do the wrong thing, Eric has receded even more into the background. And his behavior has not gone unnoticed, as everyone at the end of last episode realized it truly was the quiet ones you have to look out for. That said, Rob and Eric are set up in a really good position going into the finale. With assumingly Maura on their side, they carry the numbers at the Round Table. Then they just need to get rid of one person at the Fire of Truth (or convince the others to stop the game) and they're golden. But Eric's game could come crumbling down in two possible scenarios. While Maura is dead-set on Rob not being a Traitor, the Faithful could convince her on Eric, and she could flip on him at the Round Table. Or Rob could get greedy in the end, deciding there's only room in this game for one cloak-wearer and turning on him. So it's safe to say the man once defiantly tied to a tree is certainly not out of the woods yet.

2. Maura Higgins

Maura Higgins on 'The Traitors'Euan Cherry/PEACOCK (Euan Cherry/PEACOCK)

Right now, Maura is arguably the most locked-in person to make it to the final reveal. While the endgame is an opportunity for everyone to look suspicious, she hasn't had any heat on her since Ron Funches had the false theory he heard her footsteps when in the forest. Additionally, she is absolutely deadset on Rob not being a Traitor, to the point that she blanched at the mere concept of it at the Round Table. For Rob to succeed, he knows he has to keep her around, as that's a guaranteed number on her side.Since we've been getting so much of Maura's blind trust in Rob as of late, it's possible the show is setting us up for a massive turn at the eleventh hour, where she sees the error of her ways and turns on her Love Island bestie. But the much more likely scenario for Maura to win is that she goes along with Rob, then gets outvoted by the two other Faithful at the Fire of Truth, incidentally banishing him in the process. So, because she is the most likely to be a part of that final group of Faithful, she is therefore the most likely to benefit from a Faithful win.

1. Rob Rausch

Rob Rausch on 'The Traitors'Euan Cherry/PEACOCK (Euan Cherry/PEACOCK)

Make no mistake: The Traitors Season 4 has been the Rob Rausch Show. Probably the most unlikely casting choice for a Traitor has turned out to be one of its most inspired, as the Love Island star has benefited from his low-key personality and Southern charm to project as one of the most "Faithful of the Faithful." All the while, though, he's been making moves behind the scenes, planning savage blindsides of the Faithful and Traitors alike. It's to the point where he's even gotten comparisons to Cirie Fields, who some argue is the best Traitor to ever play the American verison.Granted, Rob faced far and away the most heat on him last episode. And he was able to escape thanks to Tara and Natalie turning on one another, plus Johnny and Mark backing away from turning on him due to his power of the Dagger. And, given that Johnny still has him top of mind as a Traitors suspect, he's certainly not out of the woods. But, even though he's used the Dagger, he pretty much has a locked-in extra vote in Maura. He and Eric are going to vote together, and Eric has much more suspicion on him than Rob. So, unless the Faithful are going to mount a coup at the eleventh hour, it looks like we'll be watching the snake wrangler slither through to the end, becoming a champion in the process.

Few songs have the power to stop listeners in their tracks quite like this heartbreaking country ballad. More than two decades after its release, the emotional narrative told by these lyrics continues to leave audiences in tears.

The track's haunting narrative and unforgettable imagery have cemented its place among the most tragic songs in country music history, resonating with fans who still revisit it when they need a good cry.

That song is "Concrete Angel," released in 2002 and performed by Martina McBride. Rolling Stone ranked the track the "saddest country song of all time," in a chart created in September 2019.

"I've certainly had a lot of people tell me when I'm performing at shows what the song means to them," said the song's co-writer Rob Crosby. "The fact that a few kids have seen the music video, which flashes the number for Child Help USA, and have been able to escape a bad situation is a gratifying thing."

The song tells the story of a young girl suffering from severe child abuse.

"Concrete Angel" is one of McBride's biggest hits—and she almost didn't record it.

"If I remember right, I had heard this song for the previous album. I hesitated to record it because I thought it might be too heavy," she told Billboard in 2021. "But in the end I followed my gut, which was telling me I needed to do it. It has become one of the most streamed and watched songs in my entire catalog. I think, in the end, it's a healing song for many."

If you're looking to round out your sad country songs playlist, Rolling Stone has "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" by Hank Williams and "Whiskey Lullaby" by Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss in its two and three spots.

She might've gotten knocked off the America's Next Top Model runway by a giant swinging pendulum, but cycle 14 contestant Alexandra Underwood exclusively tells Entertainment Weekly she's not letting the 16-year-old moment define her any longer.

In a new interview, the model and reality TV personality reflects on the often-meme'd moment from 2010's cycle 14, which saw Tyra Banks' cast of model hopefuls dodge the menacing pendulums that wobbled back and forth as contestants navigated the runway. Naturally, Underwood slipped and fell off the stage when she collided with one of the pendulums, and injured herself in the process.

"In the midst of it, I was mortified. It was inappropriate for the show to put me in that position. I was on ANTM, not American Gladiator," Underwood tells EW when reached for comment on The View cohost Whoopi Goldberg offering an on-air apology to her this week, after Netflix's new Reality Check docuseries included a clip of the Ghost actress laughing at Underwood's runway tumble back in 2010.

She continues, "I don't feel like she needed to apologize. I remember laughing at Whoopi laughing at me. Her reaction gave me permission to laugh at it, too," later adding, "She gave me permission to laugh and find it funny, because to me, it wasn't."

Looking back on the infamous ANTM moment, Underwood says that she "cut [her] knees up" amid the fall, which cameras captured at the time in shots of Underwood's ripped gown and bloody scrapes on her legs.

The fall on stage was also the second instance that saw the aspiring fashion figure take a tumble that day, as she also fell while walking down a flight of stairs to get to the runway with the pendulums on it.

"I was in that ridiculously tight dress in those super high heels, going down stairs," she remembers. "I was already shaken up going into the runway with the pendulum, so I was completely already shaken up and worried about getting axed." (Producer Ken Mok did not respond to EW's request for comment.)

Get your daily dose of entertainment news, celebrity updates, and what to watch with our EW Dispatch newsletter.

Though she placed third on cycle 14, Underwood eventually signed a contract with the Wilhelmina agency after the program, and is now entering her 16th year working with a company that, for years, ANTM champions would win a contract with as part of their prize package.

The model acknowledges that she's "the outlier" when it comes to ANTM experiences, as many contestants and judges — including alums who appear in the new Netflix Reality Check docuseries highlighting show scandals — have criticized Banks and the show and have made allegations against production in recent years.

"I got a great behind-the-scenes look at a big-budget production, and I found it very fun," Underwood tells EW, while stating that "some of the other girls absolutely deserve an apology for what they were put through" on the show.

In a 2023 interview with EW pegged to the show's 20th anniversary, cycle 1 winner Adrianne Curry said that she didn't feel Banks needed to atone for anything done to her on the show, including Curry's claim that the only prize she won after the competition was a $15,000 gig modeling makeup for Revlon executives in a board room.

"Tyra Banks learned to look out for Tyra Banks. She's a product of her environment, and I don't blame her. For her to be as successful as she is, bravo. She didn't owe me s---," Curry told EW at the time. "I know there are a lot of bitter contestants. I'm not at all. I'm glad that happened: the good, the bad, the ugly, because it really molded my life."

Amid fallout from Reality Check, talk show hostess Sherri Shepherd also tearfully defended Banks on her program.

"The show did awful things to the contestants, and I think everybody expected Tyra to take more accountability," Shepherd said, nodding toward a segment of the series that included cycle 6 winner Dani Evans voicing disdain for Banks after the supermodel pressured her get a dental procedure to close a gap in her teeth back in 2006.

"We're trying to compare a time today that we know a lot to a time when there was nothing like this show on the air," stressed Shepherd. "We're not taking into account the battles that this Black woman had to fight just to stay on the air for other people to come on the air."

A representative for Banks has not replied to EW's multiple requests for comment on the Reality Check series.

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi revealed she was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer.

In a seven-minute TikTok post, the 38-year-old "Jersey Shore" star gave a health update to her followers following a colon biopsy.

"My results came back from my colon biopsy ... and it came back stage 1 cervical cancer called adenocarcinoma," she said in the video. "Obviously not the news I've been hoping for, but also not the worst news just because they caught it so early. Thank freaking God!"

After revealing her diagnosis, she encouraged her followers to get regular Pap smears, sharing that she has "been struggling with abnormal Pap smears for three or four years now, and now look at me."

Rather than ignoring the problem "because I was hurt and scared," the former reality star said she made all the necessary appointments, adding, "cancer is in there, but it's stage 1, and it's curable."

"So get your appointments done, b----es! I'm telling you!" she added. "Once you go to stage 2, then I think you have to do chemo ... nobody wants to do that! It's scary. So get your appointments done."

In terms of a treatment plan, Polizzi explained she will first get a PET scan done to see if the cancer has spread throughout her body, adding that after that, "I'm gonna probably get the hysterectomy."

While doctors have told her chemotherapy and radiation are also an option, she believes "the smart choice here is the hysterectomy" and that she'll still have her ovaries, "which is a good sign," but that her cervix and uterus need to come out, adding, "it all depends on the PET scan."

Polizzi shared she will likely get a hysterectomy.

"A lot of women go through it silently without anyone to talk to, and they're scared by themselves. And that was me until I decided to upload the video about what was happening with me," she said.

"I like that we have a platform here to talk about it with each other," she continued. "I appreciate all of the love. Everything's going to be fine. I'm going to tackle this and get it done."

The reality star's fans flooded the comments section with supportive messages, with her "Jersey Shore" co-star, Sammi Giancola, writing, "The strongest woman, love you!"

"You're breaking stigmas by being so open and transparent about all of this!" a fan wrote in the comments section. Another added, "I haven't had a ap in over 8 years. I just got off the phone with my OBGYN. Thank you for sharing!"

The 23-year-old star rose to fame alongside Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza, and Yoonchae with the release of Netflix's Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE. The reality competition series, which resulted in the debut of Katseye in 2024, was the first joint venture between K-pop entertainment company HYBE and Universal Music Group's Geffen Records. Since then, the group has gone on to win an MTV Video Music Award and earn two Grammy nominations.

During the show, Bannerman garnered a reputation for missing rehearsals, and has since spoken out about how her need for rest became misconstrued for "laziness." She has opened up about the differences between the work culture in the United States and her home country of Switzerland, where taking breaks is accepted as a necessity. "America has a very different culture when it comes to work-life balance," she told The Cut. "You guys are all about grind and hustle. In Switzerland, if you're sick, you take a day off. No one's going to expect you to work."

"Being called lazy, especially as a Black girl, is not fair," she continued. "Now I feel like I always need to put in extra work to prove something, even though I really don't."

Following yesterday's news, Bannerman took to Weverse direct messages to address her fans directly. "Sometimes things unfold in ways we don't fully control, but I'm trusting the bigger picture," she wrote. "Thank you for standing by me. I love you endlessly and can't wait to see you again."

"KATSEYE remains committed to showing up for one another and for the fans who mean everything to us," HYBE-Geffen continued in their statement. "The group will continue scheduled activities during this time, and we look forward to being together again when the time is right." The artists are set to perform at several upcoming music festivals, including Coachella in April and New York City's Governors Ball in June.

The message concluded by thanking the fans for their "continued love, patience, and understanding."
