- *Traitors* star Candiace Dillard Bassett's husband, *RHOP* personality Chris Bassett, has slammed fellow *Traitors* star Rob Rausch.

- "HE DONT LIKE WOMEN!!" Bassett wrote on X after Rausch targeted Dillard Bassett and Lisa Rinna at the roundtable.

- A source tells EW the claim about Rausch is "outrageous and ridiculous."

She might've been ousted from *The Traitors'* turret, but *Real Housewives* alum Candiace Dillard Bassett's husband is driving back the drama in her absence.

In two consecutive instances of traitor-on-traitor backstabbing at the hands of *Love Island* personality Rob Rausch, Dillard Bassett and fellow traitor Lisa Rinna were eliminated from the Emmy-winning Peacock reality competition series' fourth season after Rausch successfully gunned for both *Real Housewives* stars during roundtable deliberations.

Now, Dillard Bassett's husband, *Real Housewives of Potomac* personality Chris Bassett, has alleged that Rausch might be playing a gender-based game with his strategy.

"The way #RobRausch is going up for Eric and protecting him while his name is being mentioned….but signed off on and led the charge against Lisa and Candiace….HE DONT LIKE WOMEN!!" Bassett wrote Thursday night on X, referencing the newest episode highlighting Rausch's voiced intention to protect singer Eric Nam, whom he recruited to be a traitor after the elimination of his OG traitor team that included Dillard Bassett and Rinna.

A fan then replied to Bassett's allegation, writing that "Lisa's days were numbered. Natalie even said it tonight, u have to keep the players who will have ur back. And lets be real, Candiace went at Rob, Rob didn't go at Candiace. I genuinely think if she didn't say his name, she'd still be in the game right now." Bassett doubled down, responding, "Rob was never working with a woman…he has shown this the whole series….and he literally led the charge against Candiace."

A source close to the situation tells EW the claim about Rausch is "outrageous and ridiculous."

"Rob is playing this game strategically and to win, regardless of who the players left are," the source continued. "He's playing to win like everybody else."

*The Traitors* season 4 has been fraught with drama both on and off the small screen, particularly surrounding the casting and gameplay of controversial *Bachelor* star Colton Underwood and his dynamic with Rinna.

Amid their light tension on the show amid Underwood's (ultimately correct) speculation that Rinna was a traitor, the *Real Housewives* personality called him "a stalker" in a post on Threads on Jan. 23. Rinna's post appeared to reference a restraining order against him filed by his ex, Cassie Randolph, in 2020. Randolph claimed at the time that Underwood placed a tracking device on her vehicle, though the order was eventually dropped.

Things intensified on the show when Underwood said he'd hold Rinna "hostage" as a traitor, and bubbled up to the point that rumors circulated that Underwood stormed out of the upcoming *Traitors* reunion episode over the resulting drama.

"But let's put it on the record, because they probably won't air it, right?" Rinna told *Variety* of their clash on the reunion, but said she didn't see Underwood storm out of the taping. "I said, 'Colton, I have a question for you: What did you mean when you said, 'I'm going to take her hostage?'' That's all I said. And that spun him out."

*Traitors* season 4 competitor Dorinda Medley (also originally from the *Real Housewives* franchise) told EW that she also didn't witness Underwood storm out of the reunion.**

"He didn't walk off set. Who said that? Unless I missed something," Medley told EW. "I swear to God, maybe I'm wrong, but I don't remember any walk-offs. You have to tune in and see. I guess *I* have to tune in and see, because I was in the back row just thinking, 'When is this going to be over?'"

Speaking on her elimination and fan discussions about alleged biases coming into play on the show, seeing as many contestants of color were eliminated early, Dillard Bassett additionally told EW that she thinks the Alan Cumming-hosted show is "does cast this light on society," and said that Black people "are expressive and we are a colorful personality in the room. And when you're in a game where everyone's senses are heightened, I think it's easier to go to the glitter in the room, the star in the room, and begin to question those people."

She later added, "It was interesting to bear witness to those biases and have it serve as a reminder to all of us and hopefully to the audience that this is something that we should all be looking out for and trying to thwart."

*The Traitors* season 4 finale and reunion special streams Thursday, Feb. 26 on Peacock.**
