Most fans of The Valley were surprised that Scheana Shay didn't join the cast for Season 3. She had made appearances on prior seasons and seemed to be the glue that held the friend group together. However, Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz signed on as full-time cast members for Season 3 of The Valley.
While some fans speculated that Scheana wasn't offered a spot, in reality, she turned down the gig. In the end, she decided that it wasn't the right time to join The Valley. However, she did leave the door open for the future.
Scheana Shay is glad she turned down The Valley Season 3
Meanwhile, Scheana's friendship with Lala fell apart. Scheana claimed that Lala told someone about her husband, Brock Davies', affair. And that someone happened to be Jenna Willis, who also made appearances on The Valley. Plus, Scheana wasn't vibing with Jenna.
During a recent episode of her podcast, Scheananigans, Scheana discussed a conversation with The Valley showrunner and executive producer, Jeremiah Smith. "Jeremiah came up to me at BravoCon. But [he] was just like, 'So do you still think you made the right decision [not to film]?'' Scheana said. "And I looked at him, and I said, 'Abso-f*cking-lutely.'"
Scheana continued, "And I was like, 'I'm still at BravoCon. I'm still Scheana Shay. But no, I'm actually really glad I didn't do it.'" As for where Scheana stands with Lala? Spoiler alert: It's not good.

"That is not going to be repaired, because the year of the snake has been shed," she said. "And one thing I'm doing moving forward is not going back," Scheana stated. "I now really genuinely understand boundaries. I feel like, why didn't I do this sooner?"
Meanwhile, Lala doesn't seem to have closed the door on a possible reconciliation with Scheana. "We're bumpy right now," Lala previously stated. "It makes me sad because, you know, we're not filming a show together."
Season 3 of The Valley will premiere on Wednesday, April 1, on Bravo.
