Zayn Malik isn't opposed to welcoming more children in the future.
The KONNAKOL artist, 33, made an appearance on the Wednesday, Feb. 11 episode of Call Her Daddy, where he talked with host Alex Cooper about his new single, his past relationships and his life as a father with daughter Khai, 5. During the conversation, Malik, who welcomed his daughter with ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid in September 2020, revealed he definitely wants more children in the future.
"I do. Yeah," he told Cooper, 31. "It's not something that, like, I'm actively trying to pursue, but, yeah, for sure, I would like more kids."
Although he's open to the idea of welcoming more children, the "Die For Me" singer shared that his daughter Khai would have to be on board with the idea before he does anything.
"Obviously, Khai would have to approve too because she's got the highest opinion, you know?" he said. "But yeah, never say never."
Asked if he'd want to have a big family, the former One Direction star says yes. Being that Malik comes from a big family, he shared that it's something he's used to, but not rushing into at the moment.
"It's something I'm used to, [but] I'm enjoying the peace and quiet of it just being me and Khai," he said. "But eventually, yeah, I'd like to lean into that. Maybe, I'd say like four."
Elsewhere in the interview, the proud dad shared how Khai helps bring out his inner child. While he said it's always been "pretty loud and prominent" in his personality, Malik shares that his little girl has brought certain aspects of his childhood back to him.
"She's just kind of brought a lot of things back for me, like how much I enjoy doing them things, you know? During the day, watching cartoons, things like that, like watching films and just enjoying kiddie stuff with her, you know?" he told Cooper. "Messing around with Play Doh and sand and all the messy s--t."
Despite loving all of those things, Malik also shared the one place he draws the line: glitter.
"No glitter though. Glitter's not allowed in my house. Because I hate it," he said. "She said glitter goes everywhere. It gets on everything. It gets stuck on your face, and your eyes, and your nose. It's weird."

Malik also opened up about the pressure he put on himself after finding out Hadid was pregnant. He shared that he was initially "nervous," but ultimately fatherhood was "completely different" than what he imagined.
"Definitely. [I] was very nervous. It's something I'd always really looked forward to," he said. "My father used to say to me, 'Oh, when you have a kid yourself, that's when you're gonna grow up.' It was always like this hinge point in my mind where I was like, 'Oh, when I get there, this will happen,' you know?" he said. "So I was kind of just expecting a lot of things to happen that didn't and kind of preempting what was gonna be the situation and just putting eighty years of pressure over a lifespan on myself in five minutes [after] finding out that my girlfriend [was] pregnant."
"It was a lot, but in reality it's been completely different, you know?" he said. "You take it a day at a time, and she's such an amazing human being that I just feel honored, really without sounding too cheesy, to just be her dad and be around her."
