Fans of beloved Roseanne actor John Goodman shared some love for the 73-year-old after initially not recognizing him during his latest sighting.
The actor appeared on the social media of Craig "Radio Man" Castaldo, a formerly homeless man who is well-known in New York City and the entertainment industry and has made over 300 appearances in TV shows or films.
In a new video posted by Castaldo, Goodman came out of what looked to be a hotel to quickly talk with him and sign some photos. While Goodman was there, Castaldo revealed that someone is making a reality show or docuseries about him, so he asked Goodman if he remembered where the two first met.
When Castaldo mentioned meeting him while working on "King Kong," possibly referring to 2017's Kong: Skull Island, Goodman shook his head and said it was "way before that."
The actor thought it might've been "Marty's movie," Bringing Out the Dead, which was a film directed by Martin Scorsese that came out in 1999, before he declared that it was even earlier than that.
The interaction ended when Goodman went back inside, saying that he would be back soon with the signed photos for Castaldo.

Fans Were Stunned Yet Happy To See Goodman
While fans loved seeing the sweet moment between the old friends, many initial reactions were of surprise, with quite a few people saying that they didn't recognize Goodman at first.
As the actor recently went through a weight-loss transformation, he physically looks a lot different than he did for most of his career, so it's not a huge shock that it took a moment for some people to realize it was him.
"I didn't recognize him at first," said one such fan, while similar comments read, "Wow John looks so different," and "dang, if I saw him out and about I would have never recognized him."
Despite the change in appearance, many people noted that he looks quite healthy, saying things like, "Big John Goodman. Watch him over the years. Good to see him aging well," and "Looking good Mr. Goodman, love to see it. You are loved by many."
Another chimed in to say, "It hurts to see John Goodman older. Happy to see he's slimmer and look healthy as ever."
The comments filled up with fans praising the Emmy-winning star, both for his talent and personal character, with one person replying, "John Goodman is such a f--king treasure of a man. I love that dude."
Others declared, "John Goodman is a national treasure!" and "John is an absolute legend. Made my childhood. American treasure. You too Radio."
Goodman Is Still a Busy Working Actor
These days, Goodman still keeps busy working on exciting projects. Next up for him is the movie Judy, helmed by Oscar-winning director Alejandro G. Iñárritu, which also stars Tom Cruise, Riz Ahmed, Emma D'Arcy, and more.
Iñárritu teased the project in an interview with Deadline in May, saying, "This is a wild comedy of catastrophic proportions. It's insane. [Cruise] makes me laugh every day. The range that I discovered working with Tom is unprecedented for me as a director. I was so f--king impressed and happy."
The movie currently has a release date of Oct. 2, 2026.
