Evan Ross revealed what he, his legendary mom, Diana Ross, and his musician wife, Ashlee Simpson Ross, are up to musically in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE
"I'm working on some things with my mom and what she's trying to create right now," Evan said
He added his wife is "doing a lot of music" as well
Evan Ross is singing the praises of the ladies of his life.
Speaking with PEOPLE for an exclusive interview in Hollywood, Calif., on Feb. 1, the 37-year-old actor shared updates about his career, as well as those of his legendary mom, Diana Ross, and his musician wife, Ashlee Simpson Ross.
"I just finished my movie that took me a while to make, that is something that I helped create, and so I'm excited about that," Evan said at Steven Tyler's 7th Jam for Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party.
He also revealed he's making music with Diana, adding, "I'm working on some things with my mom and what she's trying to create right now."

"It's amazing," Evan continued of collaborating with Diana, 81. "But I'll always work with my mom, just in the sense of like, she's one of one, and I always want to make sure that we are supporting and creating things around what she's created in her life."
Evan then shared an update on his wife, 41.
"She's doing a lot of music. She just finished her residency," he said of Ashlee's I Am Me residency at the Voltaire nightclub in Las Vegas.
Evan added, "She's about to do a bunch more shows. She's performing on Valentine's Day. I'll be there for that. She's working on music."

Evan and Ashlee, who wed in 2014 and celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary in 2025, are also surrounded by music at home thanks to their three kids: Ziggy Blu Ross, 5; Jagger Snow Ross, 10; and Bronx Mowgli Wentz, 17. (Ashlee shares Bronx with ex-husband Pete Wentz.)
The kids listen to their parents' music "all day long," Evan said.
He added that Ziggy is "probably going to be a singer too," and Jagger is "becoming this amazing actress out of nowhere, and she's singing as well."
