Four-time Grammy nominee Charlie Puth will perform the national anthem ahead of Super Bowl LX.
The pregame show also features Brandi Carlile and Coco Jones.
Super Bowl LX kicks off on Sunday, Feb. 8.
Some tune in to the Super Bowl for the game, others for the commercials. And then there's the halftime show, which has evolved over the years into a can't-miss spectacle featuring the biggest and brightest artists in music.
This year, all eyes are on Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny, who will make history as the first solo Latino and Spanish‑language headliner at the Super Bowl halftime show.
But don't sleep on the pregame performers. Pop-punk pioneers Green Day will headline the opening ceremony, paving the way for a lineup of performers who will perform the national anthem, "America the Beautiful", and "Lift Every Voice and Sing" before kickoff.
Below, meet the artists who will set the tone for Super Bowl LX.

Charlie Puth will sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the 2026 Super Bowl. Joining him on the field will be Fred Beam, who will perform the anthem in American Sign Language (ASL).
Born and raised in New Jersey, Puth is the first artist from the Garden State to sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl since 1991, a.k.a. the year Whitney Houston delivered one of the most iconic renditions ever.
"It's a great honor. I'm going to be inspired by what Whitney did, but I can't ever touch what Whitney did," he recently told Rolling Stone. "I just want to do my own thing with the hardest piece of music ever written. And I just wanna show people that I can do it."
Puth revealed that he pitched himself for the gig, telling the outlet that he sent a demo of himself singing the anthem to Jay-Z's Roc Nation. "I've been told Jay-Z loved it, and it got to [NFL Commissioner Roger] Goodell and they all said that I could do it," he said.
The four-time Grammy nominee also opened up at Apple Music's Super Bowl LX Halftime Show Press Conference on Thursday, Feb. 5, saying he hopes viewers walk away feeling "inspired."
Puth burst onto the scene in 2015 with "See You Again," the Golden Globe-nominated hit song from Furious 7 that he co-wrote, co-produced, and performed with Wiz Khalifa. He has since built on that success, releasing three albums. His next, Whatever's Clever, is due on March 27, 2026.

Brandi Carlile, who shares a hometown with the Seahawks, will take the mic to sing "America the Beautiful." Deaf artist Julian Ortiz will perform the song in ASL.
Carlile is no stranger to massive crowds, but playing the Super Bowl is something else entirely. The singer told the Seattle Times that it "feels like a massive, massive deal," but she is "ready for it."
She continued, "I've spent a lot of time on it and meditating on it, and I feel really proud to do it. And I feel really proud that they asked a gay woman to do it."
At the Feb. 5 press conference, she encouraged fans to read the full lyrics by Katharine Lee Bates. "It reads like, and the way I would love for people to interpret the song, is more of a prayer than a boast. This is a song about a country, a beautiful country that ebbs and flows in terms of hope," she said.
"It's a work in progress, and the song believes that we can get there, and I believe we can get there," she added. "For that reason, I can put my whole self into that song and believe what I'm saying."
Over her decades-long career, Carlile has earned 11 Grammys, two Emmys, and an Oscar nomination. In 2025, she put out two albums: a solo LP, Returning to Myself, and a duet project with Elton John, Who Believes in Angels?.

For the sixth consecutive year, "Lift Every Voice and Sing" will be performed at the Super Bowl. Grammy winner Coco Jones will sing a rendition at Super Bowl LX, accompanied by ASL performer Fred Beam.
At the recent Super Bowl press conference, Jones admitted she's feeling some nerves, but staying positive. "I deserve the moment. I deserve the opportunity," she said. "You just think about the honor that it is."
Her mom is thrilled, too. "My mom has been at a loss for words for the first time," she joked. "She's super, super excited, and I can't wait for her to watch me sing at this moment."
Jones revealed she's been diving into the history of "Lift Every Voice and Sing" to fully understand its significance and how it grew from a poem into a cultural staple.
"Being able to have this light on the culture is a moment in itself. I'm just the vessel that is able to represent what this means to the culture," she said, adding that performing it feels like honoring her younger self, her family, and the generations that came before her.
She also gave a peek at her pre-show routine: "Jumping around … I get very antsy right before a performance," she explained. "I'm just trying to get the nerves out, so I'm just moving a lot." And she snacks on Lay's chips before singing. "Whitney Houston said that it makes your voice more oiled and loose, so now I just do it all the time."
Jones enjoyed a breakout 2025, earning a Grammy nomination for her debut album, Why Not More?. She's also an actress, having starred in the Disney Channel original movie Let It Shine (2012) and on shows like Good Luck Charlie (2012–2013) and Peacock's Bel-Air (2022–2025).
