Emma Heming Willis opens up to PEOPLE about how she has changed her approach to self-care since becoming a caregiver for husband Bruce WIllis

The 47-year-old says she's learned it's "vital" to stay on top of her own health so she can care for others

She is partnering with QVC to expand her brain health brand, Make Time Wellness

Emma Heming Willis says her role as a caregiver has taught her how "vital" it is to prioritize her own health.

The model and entrepreneur, 47, opened up to PEOPLE about her growing women's brain health brand, Make Time Wellness, which recently made its debut on QVC's The New Beauty Inside & Out, a special series devoted to holistic beauty and wellness.

"We are thrilled to now be a part of the QVC family," she tells PEOPLE. "We get to really talk about the products, talk about brain health, really educate women right there in real time. I'm just really excited to spread the word about that because no one is talking to women about their brains, even our doctors."

Heming Willis recalls struggling with her brain health in the past but having her symptoms dismissed by doctors. That's, in part, why she wants to "dig deeper and advocate for myself a little bit more."

"I think as women in society, we tend to put ourselves last, and we put everyone's needs above our own. And what I've realized is that if you are not caring for yourself, if you are not finding ways to make time for your health, your hobbies, it's impossible to be able to care for the people that we love," she says.

Heming Willis' dedication to raising awareness for brain health started after her husband Bruce Willis was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and she became his caregiver.

As she educated herself, she quickly learned jarring statistics about the overall health and wellbeing of caregivers. It reminds her to stay on top of her health every day.

"I think that 40% of caregivers aren't making their own medical appointments and caregivers can sometimes pass before their loved ones," she says. "So that's a reminder to keep me on track and hopefully educate people, caregiver or not, just about the importance of caring for yourself. It's really vital."

Being a caregiver can be all-consuming at times, Heming Willis admits, but she's learned ways to balance her new lifestyle.

"It's really easy to get bogged down with our to-do lists and our calendars. I try to have a 'brain break' on my calendar," she says with a laugh. "So I remember to step away from the screen, getting outside, making sure that I am checking the boxes on my brain health journey because that's sort of how I care for myself now. I think about my brain first and the rest of my body benefits."

"I mean, it's embedded in our brand name, you know, making time for yourself," she tells PEOPLE. "I think it's just coming from the mindset of knowing how important I am and trying to keep sight of that. We have to really learn how to value ourselves."

Martha Stewart, who was named the Chief Gardening Officer of Scotts Miracle-Gro last year, says she's had one of her plants for over 50 years

Stewart tells PEOPLE how gardening is part of her self-care

She also adds why she turns to Miracle-Gro for her own garden

Martha Stewart is a lot of things: entrepreneur, author, lifestyle mogul and, of course, a green thumb.

Stewart, 84, may not have a lot of free time in her busy schedule, but she always makes time for gardening, whether that's in her greenhouses, in her gardens or in her home. Though she's grown "thousands" of plants in her lifetime, there's one in particular that stands above the rest: her dendrobium orchids.

"Right now in full bloom are about 30 gigantic dendrobium orchids," Stewart tells PEOPLE of her current favorite plant. "You would think maybe they're honeysuckle when you look at them from a distance because they have tiny little pink and white flowers on them."

View this post on Instagram

Stewart says every few days, she brings in new blooms from the greenhouse to brighten her home and scent the space. She says they smell like the "finest perfume ever made."

What makes these orchids so unique, though, is where Stewart got them in the first place.

"I got them originally from the lady who started Pepperidge Farm, Margaret Rudkin," she explains. "She lived in Fairfield, Connecticut, right down the road from my house. She had two or three very nice small greenhouses, and these were in the greenhouse and she gave them to me. She sold the house, and she gave me the orchids. I've had them ever since."

Stewart shares that Rudkin died in 1967, and she estimates that she handed over the blooms shortly before this, making her starter plants more than 50 years old. She keeps them thriving with "optimal" conditions, she says, which include the right plant food.

"As a serious gardener, I have tried every single thing," Stewart says. "The most available and the most easily understood plant foods are the organics that Miracle-Gro is making right now. We have organic plant foods for all different kinds of plants, all of these things."

Stewart takes her gardening so seriously that Scotts Miracle-Gro named her the Chief Gardening Officer in 2025. At the time, Sadie Oldham, vice president and general manager of the Gardens business at Scotts Miracle-Gro said in a press release, "Naming Martha chief gardening officer is the pinnacle of our partnership and an important step in our mission to make Gardening more accessible for all. Not only is she going to challenge us in the best ways possible, but she is extremely insightful and will serve as a trusted resource for our team, Miracle-Gro customers and the Gardening community as a whole."

As part of her role, Stewart says she visits the Scotts Miracle-Gro headquarters in Ohio to chat plants. "I visit with their scientists, their researchers, and with the board. We talk about what's going on in the world of plants."

Though she calls her CGO role a "side job" — albeit a "big" one — gardening in general also acts as a form of self-care for her.

"I take care of me, I take care of my plants, I take care of my animals," she says of how it all works together holistically, adding that her diet, skin care and overall wellness all contribute to her self-care. "I wouldn't go into my greenhouses if I didn't have my own personal care taken care of first."

Linda Hamilton is opening up about her life out of the spotlight in New Orleans.

During an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE about the 69-year-old's cameo season 4 premiere of AMC's Dark Winds, the actress called her decision to move to Louisiana "totally amazing."

"It's been the stupidest thing, but that's the universe rewarding me somehow by putting me here," The Terminator star says. "I love New Orleans. I really love it."

Hamilton has been living in The Big Easy for about 10 years, she revealed to AARP magazine in a November 2025 interview. The actress left California for a family farm in Virginia about 15 years ago and after her father died, she decided to give New Orleans a try."People don't really come and see you and visit when you have a family farm," she told the outlet. "They do come and see you when you live in New Orleans… I didn't have a friend here and I bought the first house I saw, found it on Zillow, like I'm really trying to live that life."

Today, the Resident Alien star tells PEOPLE she wants to "reinvent myself" as the "grandy" of her first grandchild, 1, who lives nearby. Hamilton's son — Dalton Abbot, 36, whom she shares with ex-husband Bruce Abbot — welcomed a baby last year.

"That is a treasured time. I want more of it," she says. "I wanted to be that grandmother in his life… I feel just so deeply planted in my life because there's this little guy that shares it, and it's really an amazing feeling."

She adds: "There is just this connection between him and I. So I'm happy to go with that for the rest of the year, really."

In August 2025, the actress told PEOPLE she hadn't been anxious to become a grandma."I have not been sitting around for 20 years hoping for a grandchild — I'm too busy. So there was no pressure, no weight [on my children]," Hamilton said during a discussion about her film, Osiris. "I frankly feel like I've just gotten rid of my babies, you know what I mean? I don't want more babies."

She added: "Of course, I loved my babies, but there's something very connected with [my grandson] and I. And it really doesn't have anything to do with, 'Oh, he's my legacy,' or, 'Oh, he reminds me of my son.' It's nothing like that. It's just like, 'Oh my God, this little creature.' "

When she isn't spending time with family, the Stranger Things actress has another group to hang out with.

"I have a coffee club," Hamilton says, describing her perfect day off set. "We meet in the morning and just start the day right. But mostly it's a quiet day."

"I'm an introvert. I think years ago I came up with my formula, which is about 80% of my time has to be alone," she says. "Just give me books and a pile of animals and just leave me alone and I'm happy."

Levine said that though he didn't think the character was offensive at the time, he now thinks the character was 'f---ing wrong'

Buffalo Bill is presented as a gender non-conforming trans person, and late director Jonathan Demme agreed that he understood where LGBTQ+ critics were coming from

The Silence of the Lambs star Ted Levine is looking back at the movie and he thinks they made some mistakes.

Levine, 68, played the serial killer Buffalo Bill (a.k.a. Jame Gumb) in the movie, which was released 35 years ago, in February 1991. The film sees Jodie Foster's Clarice Starling, an FBI trainee, speak to Anthony Hopkins' Dr. Hannibal Lecter, in hopes that his insight can help her catch Buffalo Bill, who murders young women and removes their skin.

The Silence of the Lambs was a commercial and critical success and took home the Oscars for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Adapted Screenplay.

The Hollywood Reporter spoke to Levine, who reflected on his now-complicated opinions on the film and his character. Though Buffalo Bill's sexual orientation is never stated, some have viewed the character as gender nonconforming and trans. Hannibal even tells Clarice, "Billy hates his own identity, you see, and he thinks that makes him a transsexual. But his pathology is a thousand times more savage and more terrifying."

Levine told THR, "There are certain aspects of the movie that don't hold up too well. We all know more, and I'm a lot wiser about transgender issues. There are some lines in that script and movie that are unfortunate."

He said he did not express any concerns while making the movie, but had learned more about the trans community in the 35 years since the horror classic was released. ""[It's] just over time and having gotten aware and worked with trans folks, and understanding a bit more about the culture and the reality of the meaning of gender," he said. "It's unfortunate that the film vilified that, and it's f---ing wrong. And you can quote me on that."

But of his work in the film he said, "I didn't play him as being gay or trans. I think he was just a f---ed-up heterosexual man. That's what I was doing."

Director Jonathan Demme, who died in 2017 at the age of 73, told the Huffington Post in 2014 that he "applauded" the LGBTQ+ community for criticizing The Silence of the Lambs but that Buffalo Bill wasn't transgender. "He didn't wish to be another gender," he said. "He didn't really have a sexual preference. He loathed himself -- he wanted to transform himself so that there was no sense of him in the 'new' him [and] becoming a woman...that was his method of doing it."

He added, "Now, finally — maybe this year – more and more people, me included, are starting to really wake up to the challenge [the transgender community faces] today."

Demme's producing partner Edward Saxon told THR that they didn't think that the movie would cause issues for the LGBTQ+ community, saying they were "really loyal" to the original book by Thomas Harris, released in 1988.

"As we made the film, there was just no question in our minds that Buffalo Bill was a completely aberrant personality — that he wasn't gay or trans. He was sick," the 69-year-old said. "To that extent, we missed it. From my point of view, we weren't sensitive enough to the legacy of a lot of stereotypes and their ability to harm."

Back in 2024, Hopkins, 88, told PEOPLE that Hannibal Lecter was "one of the best parts I've ever read."

He explained, "I could understand Lecter. I could understand the mystery of the man, the loner, the isolated voice in the dark, the man at the top of the stairs who's not really there."

Below Deck Down Under star Ben Robinson is opening up about what led to the end of his engagement to ex-fiancée Kiara Cabral.

During the Bravo reality show's Feb. 16 episode, the 45-year-old yacht chef tearfully revealed in a confessional, "I was meant to get married last year. And I caught her — she had been seeing one of my friends for a very long time."

He shared the story after getting emotional during a crew night out when the group played the game "Shag, Marry, Kill." After sous chef Alesia Harris and chief stew Daisy Kelliher both opted to "kill" Robinson, he reacted by lashing out and then breaking down in tears.

When Kelliher attempted to comfort him, he explained, "I'm just really sensitive right now. I just… I'm more sensitive because everyone's just f---ing let me down, that's why."

Robinson then admitted he lacks "faith in humanity" after the painful experience. "That's it, yeah. F---."

PEOPLE reached out to Cabral for comment.

Robinson further reflected on his emotional reaction to the game during the after-show, saying, "I think that maybe I wasn't quite healed."

"Well, that's the thing. You never know until you scratch that emotional surface. I was away from the reclusion of my otherwise reclusive life, but you never know until you put yourself back in the field," he continued.

Robinson also shared that his friend and Below Deck alum Kate Chastain had concerns about his relationship with Cabral. "It's funny, because Kate liked my ex-fiancée a little bit in the beginning, but she kind of sussed her out," he said. "Kate kind of became a little, 'I don't really like her.' She's like a human lie detector."

The reality star previously addressed his broken engagement during the show's season 4 premiere episode on Feb. 2, revealing, "I spent $50,000 on a wedding I didn't attend."

Robinson announced his split from Cabral on Instagram in September 2024, writing, "I am no longer getting married… We have decided to go our separate ways, and I think that this is the best decision for both of us. I would rather not discuss the reasons behind these decisions, but I feel it's important for me to express my circumstance."

He shared at the time that he was finding "strength" in the support from his family, friends and followers.

The pair announced their engagement in May 2023 after four years of dating. "After a wonderful 4 year relationship with my love Kiara I decided to take the next step and propose…" the chef wrote at the time. "I feel like the luckiest man alive!"

Stephen Colbert's comments that network executives pulled his interview with Democratic Texas Senate candidate James Talarico over fears it would violate regulatory guidance from the Trump administration has prompted a conversation about the rules governing how media outlets treat political coverage.

The concern about the interview, which the late-night host referenced in his Monday night show and later posted in full online, stems from a requirement that broadcast stations give equal time to political candidates when they appear on-air.

Although there are multiple exemptions to the provision, the Trump administration through the Federal Communications Commission — which regulates the nation's airwaves — has been moving to clamp down specifically on programs like Colbert's, which the agency has suggested may be "motivated by partisan purposes."

"He was supposed to be here, but we were told in no uncertain terms by our network's lawyers, who called us directly, that we could not have him on the broadcast," Colbert said on his program, "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert."

In a statement issued Tuesday, CBS said Colbert's show "was provided legal guidance that the broadcast could trigger the FCC equal-time rule for two other candidates" in the March 3 Democratic primary, "and presented options for how the equal time for other candidates could be fulfilled." Thereafter, the network noted, it was decided "to present the interview through its YouTube channel with on-air promotion on the broadcast rather than potentially providing the equal-time options."

Talarico, a critic of President Donald Trump, posted a nearly minute-long clip of his interview with Colbert on X and called it "the interview Donald Trump didn't want you to see."

What does equal time mean?

The Communications Act of 1934, the wide-ranging legislation that for nearly a century has broadly governed use of the nation's airwaves, includes a provision that applies specifically to coverage of political candidates. If a station gives airtime to one candidate, then the same station must offer comparable time to other candidates competing in the given contest, should they ask for it.

It also delves into campaign advertising airtime sold by stations and networks. If a station sells airtime to one candidate, then it also has to offer to sell the same amount of time to other candidates for the same office.

There are exceptions to this rule, including newscasts, "bona fide" interview programs, coverage of live events or documentaries. But if candidates host TV shows or appear in non-news, entertainment programming, that does trigger the provision.

Equal time also only applies to broadcast television and radio. So pieces on cable, streaming services or social media aren't included.

How the Trump administration has treated equal time

The rule requiring networks to give equal time to political candidates hasn't traditionally been applied to talk shows, but the Trump administration has made moves to change that.

In January, the Federal Communications Commission issued new guidance warning late-night and daytime hosts that they need to give political candidates equal time, with FCC Chairman Brendan Carr questioning the talk show exemption and positing that hosts were "motivated by partisan purposes."

"The FCC has not been presented with any evidence that the interview portion of any late night or daytime television talk show program on air presently would qualify for the bona fide news exemption," according to the public notice.

FCC eyes talk shows like 'The View'

The notice also said that television networks would need to apply for exemptions for individual programs.

In his comments, Colbert noted that the equal time provision applies to broadcast but not streaming platforms. Subsequently, his nearly 15-minute interview with Talarico was posted to the YouTube page for Colbert's show, with the host noting specifically that the segment was only appearing online and not on broadcast.

Carr, appointed by Trump to lead the agency last year, has often criticized network talk shows, suggesting last year that probing ABC's "The View" — whose hosts have frequently been critical of Trump — over the exemption might be "worthwhile."

The FCC did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment Tuesday.

What about the Fairness Doctrine?

Created by the FCC in 1949, this rule mandated that broadcasters present contrasting viewpoints when covering publicly important and controversial issues. Unlike the equal time provision of the Communications Act, this was an FCC rule, not a law.

It didn't apply specifically to political candidates, but topics. The U.S. Supreme Court upheld the doctrine on a First Amendment challenge in 1969, with the court writing that the limited availability of broadcast spectrum justified regulation.

In 1987, the FCC repealed the rule, arguing that spectrum scarcity was no longer an issue, and then-President Ronald Reagan vetoed Congress' attempt to codify it into law.

The Kennedy family has played an important role in American politics for over a century

John F. Kennedy's presidency is regarded as a success until his assassination in 1963

The family has also faced many tragedies and scandals over the years

The Kennedy family has been a big part of American politics since the late 1800s.

For well over a century, members of the famous family have pursued both political and philanthropic careers, holding offices that span from city council to Commander-in-Chief along with spearheading some of the biggest nonprofits and charitable initiatives on the globe.

John F. Kennedy's presidency, in particular, is heralded as a golden era in U.S. history, often referred to as Camelot (in reference to the time of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table), that the nation still remembers with a heightened sense of nostalgia.

However, the Kennedy family is not without its tragedies and many scandals, which have spanned generations. The assassination of President Kennedy in 1963, and his younger brother, Robert F. Kennedy, in 1968 marked a period of great turmoil in the U.S., and the tragic death of JFK's son, John F. Kennedy Jr., in a plane crash in 1999 was yet another untimely death. In December 2025, Tatiana Schlossberg, Caroline Kennedy's daughter, died at the age of 35 of acute myeloid leukemia.

Below is a guide to the Kennedy family tree, starting with patriarch Joseph P. Kennedy and matriarch Rose Fitzgerald and their nine children, and some of the most notable faces of each generation since.

The modern Kennedy family can be traced to Joseph P. Kennedy and his wife, Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy. The two wed on Oct. 7, 1914, and had nine children together: Joseph Patrick Kennedy Jr. (1915), John F. Kennedy (1917), Rosemary Kennedy (1918), Kathleen "Kick" Kennedy (1920), Eunice Kennedy (1921), Patricia Kennedy (1924), Robert F. Kennedy Sr. (1925) Jean Kennedy (1928) and Edward "Ted" Moore Kennedy (1932).

And while the family's political pursuits peaked when JFK was elected president in 1960, the Kennedys' history in politics began long before that. JFK's father, Joseph, is said to have become acquainted with Franklin D. Roosevelt while working at a steel shipyard, who would later appoint him as the first chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Joseph also served as the United States Ambassador to the U.K. from 1938 to 1940.

Joseph's father, P.J. Kennedy also held political offices. P.J. Kennedy, a local bar owner, began his political career in his mid-20s, winning a campaign for the Massachusetts House of Representatives at the age of 27. According to the 2022 book The First Kennedys, he spent five years in legislation before deciding to step back to focus on his business. However, he ultimately ended up taking a higher political position instead, being elected to the Senate in 1892. With no desire to relocate to Washington, D.C., however, P.J. ultimately left politics for more financially focused endeavors.

They welcomed four sons, Robert "Bobby" Sargant Shriver III (1954), Timothy Perry Shriver (1959), Mark Kennedy Shriver (1964) and Anthony Paul Shriver (1965), and one daughter Maria Owings Shriver (1955).

Eunice Kennedy Shriver was the fifth child born to Joseph P. Kennedy and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy.

Born in 1921, she is best remembered as the founder of the Special Olympics. She started the organization with her husband, Robert, in 1968 as a way to turn her anger over the treatment of her sister Rosemary, who had developmental disabilities and then underwent a lobotomy, at their father's directive, into positive action. Though Eunice initially found herself in politics, working for the Special War Problems Division of the U.S. State Department and as a secretary for the U.S. Executive Department, she found her calling in charity work.

She was also a strong supporter of her brother JFK, supporting him on the campaign trail of his 1960 presidential campaign. She died on Aug. 11, 2009, after suffering a stroke four years earlier. She posthumously received the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2017 ESPY Awards.

She became a journalist, co-anchoring The CBS Morning News for a year in 1985 before moving over to Sunday Today. She also worked at NBC Nightly News and contributed to Dateline NBC from 1992 to 1994. She returned to media as a special anchor in 2013 and has executive produced at least six film projects and published multiple self-help and children's books over the years.

Maria shares four children with her ex-husband and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, whom she wed in 1986: Katherine Schwarzenegger (1989); Christina Schwarzenegger (1991); Patrick Schwarzenegger (1993); and Christopher Schwarzenegger (1997).
