Kirkus Reviews writes, "Engaging, wise, and marvelously witty—illuminating both the craft of writing and the art of living."

At least four of Atwood's books have been optioned or adapted for the screen, including The Handmaid's Tale, which was adapted both as a film and as a TV series on Hulu. One of the most prominent authors of her generation, Atwood is considered one of the preeminent current writers. Her most recent work, her memoir Book of Lives: A Memoir of Sorts, is now receiving accolades of its own.
