A BRITISH Airways supervisor is on the run in India accused of organising a £3million immigration scam for round five years — from his Heathrow check-in desk.

Police are working with counterparts in India to attempt to hint the man, who vanished together with his BA floor providers companion after being arrested and bailed.

"It was an ingenious plan which has made him hundreds of thousands through the years.

BA sources stated the airline had terminated the contracts of the supervisor and his companion.

A spokesman stated: "We're aiding the authorities with their investigation."

The Home Office  claimed it might be "inappropriate" to remark whereas an investigation is ongoing.

The Met and Border Force have been approached for comment.
