Kate Middleton's family members are making a rare royal appearance at her "Together at Christmas" carol service.
On Dec. 5, the Princess of Wales, 43, hosted her fifth annual Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey in London, which several of her Middleton family members stepped out to attend.
Princess Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, arrived together and walked in behind their son, Kate's brother James Middleton, and his wife, Alizée Thevenet.
Missing from the group was Princess Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton, who has attended the Christmas carol service in previous years.

The Princess of Wales' parents have supported her Christmas carol service, which PEOPLE is attending, every year since its inaugural launch in 2021, alongside her sister.
James and Alizée have also previously gone in 2021 and 2024, and Pippa's husband, James Matthews, has also supported Kate's Christmas service in years past, stepping out for the event in 2022 and 2023.
Princess Kate is known to be close to her family members, who live private lives outside of the royal spotlight.

The Middleton family's last major appearance was at the "Together at Christmas" carol service in December 2024, where Prince Louis left a tag on a "Kindness Tree" outside the ancient abbey that revealed his tight bond with his grandparents.
"Thank you to Granny and Grandpa because they have played games with me," Prince Louis, 7, wrote on the note, referring to Carole and Michael.
