Sorry, critics: Court will be back in session for Kim Kardashian's "All's Fair."
The star-studded Hulu series from producer Ryan Murphy is set to return for a second season after being almost universally panned by critics, who dubbed it the worst show of the year.
"Checkmate," the show's official Instagram account said while sharing news of the renewal and noting that production on the new episodes will begin in the spring.
"All's Fair," which premiered with its first three episodes on Nov. 4, centers on a team of wealthy divorce attorneys and stars Kardashian alongside Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor and Sarah Paulson. It marks the latest collaboration between Kardashian and Murphy after the reality star previously starred in Season 12 of his horror anthology show "American Horror Story."

'All's Fair' review: Critics widely pan show
But critics haven't exactly been kind to the series, which drew some of the worst reviews of any show in recent years.
USA TODAY's Kelly Lawler panned "All's Fair" as an "embarrassingly terrible show with scripts worse than what ChatGPT was spitting out two years ago and acting worse than your local Christmas pageant," also calling it an "unmitigated disaster" of "outlandish proportions."

Variety's Alison Herman agreed, describing the series as a "clumsy, condescending take on rah-rah girlboss feminism," while The Hollywood Reporter's Angie Han said Kardashian delivers a "stiff and affectless" performance, which is appropriate for a show where the writing is "also stiff and affectless without a single authentic note."

On Rotten Tomatoes, "All's Fair" received a shockingly low score of 3%, meaning 97% of all reviews from critics were negative, and just a single positive review was counted. Despite this, the show delivered Hulu its biggest scripted series premiere in three years, according to Deadline. The audience score on Rotten Tomatoes was also much higher than the critical rating at 66%.

Kardashian brushed off the poor reviews from critics on Instagram earlier this month, writing, "Have you tuned in to the most critically acclaimed show of the year!?!?!?"
In the post, the "Kardashians" star shared screenshots of fans embracing "All's Fair" for its camp factor and suggesting the bad reviews made them want to watch it even more. One X user wrote that after seeing the series had a 0% score on Rotten Tomatoes, they "immediately pressed play."
