Khloé Kardashian has a very valid reason for why she no longer keeps a journal.
On an episode of her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land, released on Wednesday, Nov. 19, the 41-year-old reality star revealed that her ex-husband, Lamar Odom, burned dozens of journals that she'd accumulated from years of her life.
When Odom, 46, found the journals she'd methodically kept, he was "going through it" and "having a tough time" when he was "incredibly paranoid," Kardashian claimed.
He "was reading them and just was convinced that I was taking notes and sending them to the government or something crazy," she recalled. "And he threw all of them into a fire in front of me."

"I remember sobbing," she continued. "It was years of my life in these journals, and they meant so much to me."
Kardashian hasn't journaled since, she confessed, because she felt like it was "taken away in a f---ing blink, and what was the point?"
"I do hate that I don't do it anymore, but I also think there's a piece of me that doesn't want to ever risk that that could happen again," she continued. "It's more — I'm not gonna say traumatic — but I just don't wanna open that up again."

In the last year since starting her podcast, Kardashian has been open about her marriage to the former NBA player. The two wed in 2009 and then separated in 2013, but didn't officially get divorced until 2016, after dismissing her initial filing to help Odom recover following a nearly-fatal drug overdose.
She said in a March episode of her podcast that she "wouldn't change" her relationship with her ex, who she married within 30 days of meeting him. "It was one of the best experiences of my life and I loved that, but I don't think — I'll never say never – I don't think I would ever do that again. I hope not. Because you really don't know the person," she said.

She reunited with Odom for the first time in nine years on a February episode of The Kardashians. She wanted to return some of his possessions that she'd been keeping for years, but said she didn't "have a lot of emotion" generally about seeing her ex-husband again, as she compared their breakup to a "death."
During the visit, the exes talked through the ups and downs of their relationship, as Odom admitted he put Kardashian "through a lot" and he "f------ up" by losing her. They parted on good terms, with Odom expressing his hope that they could one day be friends. He told cameras he felt like "100 pounds" had been lifted off his chest after seeing her.
Kardashian felt similarly "relieved" after the conversation. "I feel proud of myself," she said in a confessional. "I feel like this is a part of my shedding process while I am preparing to get into my fourth decade of life."
