Fashion Trust Arabia Celebrates Style in Doha ARNEL DELA GENTE

On Saturday night, Fashion Trust Arabia hosted the seventh annual FTA Prize at the National Museum of Qatar, welcoming a glittering array of stars to the red carpet. The special ceremony was hosted by Queen Latifah and actor Aiman Kaissouni, and honored a "commitment to creativity and innovation" as part of the FTA's mission to strengthen "the future of the regional fashion industry," per the organization's press release.

Guests were treated to a dinner from hospitality group QC+, as well as musical performances by Saint Levant and Chaka Khan.

The event was presided over by FTA Honorary Chair Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, along with FTA co-chairs Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and Tania Fares. The FTA jury presented awards in categories such as Ready-to-Wear, Jewelry, the Franca Sozzani Debut Talent Award, and the Fashion Tech Award, all aimed at highlighting and mentoring innovators in the regional fashion industry. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Miuccia Prada for her "profound impact on style and culture."

Model Gisele Bündchen shared images from the event on Instagram, highlighting her friendship with Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani. In the caption, the fashion icon wrote, "The energy in the room was a beautiful reminder of the power of community when it comes together to champion new talent."
