She may have wrapped up her Wicked: For Good press tour, but Cynthia Erivo has yet to slow down. Stepping out for a Thanksgiving appearance, the actress leaned away from her Elphaba greens and towards autumnal shades of burgundy, gray, and brown. Managing a quick-change in the chaos of the morning, she attended the 2025 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in not one, but two gratitude-worthy looks.

For her gray-on-gray ensemble, which served as a prime example of layering expertise, Erivo pulled out a dynamic mix of textures and fabrics, creating an eye-catching, intriguing, and certainly season-appropriate look. For a base, the actress picked out a black knit turtleneck and light gray wide-leg trousers, which hit her ankle to reveal her beige suede platform boots.

The next layer, a thin padded housecoat in a quilted outer-shell and smooth satin lining, was designed by Max Mara with contrasting leather sleeves and a V-neck silhouette. She belted the piece with a black leather accent, tied at the waist. For a final bit of warmth, she threw on a beige teddy vest from the same label, and for a bit of bling, she added a silver butterfly necklace and matching hoop earrings.

Her red-on-red look, as equally as fuzzy and layered as the last, was centered around another Max Mara set. Erivo swapped her black turtleneck for a ribbed, deep cherry-red alternative, made in a blend of wool and cashmere, and wrapped it with a sleeveless alpaca coat in the same shade. Designed with long lapels and oversize pockets, it was the perfect match to her outerwear: a maxi robe coat with a lapel collar and long raglan sleeves. She kept on her same jewelry, but added a burgundy top hat, red leather belt, and sparkling platform boots.
