The country singer shocked fans when he shaved his beard
His wife revealed how long it's been since his facial hair has been clean-cut during the episode
Jelly Roll shocked fans when he shaved his beard. Now his wife, Bunnie Xo, is ready to give fans a further look at the process.
On the Friday, Nov. 21 edition of the Dumb Blonde podcast's Ask, Tell, Confess Q&A episode, Bunnie Xo, 45, revealed that it has actually been 20 years since the country cooner, 40, shaved his beard.
Bunnie Xo explained that fans got the timeline wrong after she previously mentioned in a Thursday, Nov. 13, Instagram post that "I have been with my husband for going on 10 years now, [and] I have never seen this man without his facial hair."

"The internet got it wrong," she said in the podcast. "Like, all the news articles are like, 'Oh, he hasn't shaved his face in 10 years.' No, no, no, no. He hasn't shaved his face in 20 years."
The podcast host said, "This is the first time he's ever seen his face without hair."
The reason for the change was quite simple — Bunnie Xo said it was because he "finally lost all that weight."

The country singer, who weighed 550 lbs. at one point, previously told Music Mayhem that he started losing weight in 2022. By November 2024, he reported having lost 110 lbs.
While appearing on Pat McAfee's Big Night AHT live show a year later in April 2025, the musician said he had shed nearly 200 lbs.
Bunnie Xo said that because of the changes to her husband's body, "he doesn't know what he looks like underneath there," making shaving his beard a "really special moment."
"Now the way it turned out is a completely different story," she said. "But ya live and ya learn. I don't even want him to grow the goatee back. I want him to keep the mullet and do the fricken' weird cop mustache that he had. Oh my god, it was so hot. It looks so good, I'm like, 'Baby, leave that.' "
As for other things she loves about her husband? His "little jawline" and his "little peanut head."
"It looks like Beetlejuice," she said.

While Bunnie Xo noted that it's "weird" seeing her husband without his beard, "I kiss him all the time. I love him."
