Bunnie Xo is opening up about a recent run-in with the law.

The podcast host and author, 45, revealed that she was recently pulled over while unknowingly driving with a suspended license, and as a result must book herself in jail.

"It looks like your girl is gonna have to go book herself in, and if I do, you guys have seen all my past mugshots, right? I'm going in glammed the f– up, baby," she said on the Nov. 21 episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast. "And I'm going to vlog it."

Bunnie explained that her troubles began in 2020, when she got a ticket in Alabama driving home from a family vacation.

The star, who is married to Jelly Roll, said she had no memory of getting the ticket, but it came back to haunt her when she was pulled over several weeks ago for having tinted windows on her car.

"[The cop] runs my license and he comes back and he goes, 'Do you know your license is suspended?' And I was like, 'What? When? How could this happen?'" she said.

The cop traced the suspension back to the unpaid Alabama ticket, and let Bunnie off with a warning, but told her to get the situation "fixed."

Bunnie said she went home and "instantly" paid the old ticket, which she believed meant her license was reinstated.

But "the other day," she was pulled over once again, and learned the hard way that she hadn't actually solved the problem.

"I might've been speeding, I don't know. I can't confirm or deny," she said. "[The cop] goes to his car and then he comes back and he goes, 'No, your license is still suspended.' And I'm like, 'Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. What do I do?' And he's like, 'Well, it is an arrestable offense.' And I'm just like, 'F--k, dude.'"

The cop told Bunnie that he would not arrest her in the moment, but said she must "go down to the jail and book yourself in" at some point during the week.

Bunnie explained that she was able to confirm she'd paid the 2020 ticket on Oct. 24, and currently has her lawyer handling the situation and trying to figure out why her suspended license wasn't reinstated.

"I hope they don't [hold me in jail]. I have anxiety," she said. "I'm not built for prison and jail… I know we're laughing about it, and it's no joking matter. Don't drive on a fricken' suspended license. But I didn't know. This ticket's from five years ago."

Bunnie, who is set to release her memoir Stripped Down next year, has been open about her past legal history, which includes a number of arrests.

In an Instagram post earlier this month, she shared seven of her past mugshots, writing that she was "not ashamed" of the images.

"They remind me who I used to be, & how far grace has carried me," she wrote. "I look at those photos now & just want to hug that little girl. She thought surviving meant hyper independence, fighting in the streets, barking loud & biting even harder."

She shared that the final image in the post came when she was 26, and was arrested for soliciting an undercover cop on a casino floor while in the throes of addiction.

"I can still see the drugs in my skin, the bloodshot eyes, the hollow look that comes when you've stopped caring if you wake up tomorrow. I was deep in addiction, lost in survival mode," she wrote. "I had to stop pointing fingers & realize, two things can be true: I was the problem & the solution."
