Brenda Song reveals her biggest vacation splurge and how she travels like her 2000s Suite Life of Zack and Cody character, London Tipton

Song also opens up about going on trips with her fiancé, Macaulay Culkin, and their two kids under 5
Brenda Song is a self-confessed miles girl.
"Being able to get my advantage miles and loyalty points by just spending on everyday things...I love killing two birds with one stone," Song, 37, tells PEOPLE. "It just fits so well into so many people's lifestyles and my lifestyle in particular."
Traveling is a "huge" part of the Running Point star's life, whether she's seeing the world through work or relaxing on "little getaways" with her fiancé Macaulay Culkin. So she says it was an easy choice for her to partner with the Citi / AAdvantage Globe Card, a new travel rewards credit card from American Airlines, Citi and Mastercard.
For Song, card perks just "elevate" her travel, which now includes fun trips that her whole family — including her and Culkin's two young sons, Dakota, 4, and Carson, 3 — can make memories on.

"We went on a trip to Hawaii this past summer, and it was just so much fun, simply because I think my boys are at an age now where they can actually enjoy it. They were at the beach every day, riding bikes, doing all of the activities, and it was really special. My parents were there, and so to me that felt like our first family vacay, a proper one," she shares.

And while the trip itself is Song's biggest spend while traveling, there's one thing she can't resist splurging on while away from home — one-of-a-kind meals.
"I eat my way through wherever I'm at," she reveals. "I spend a lot of time in Paris and I love French cuisine, and so we had an incredible, I almost want to call it omakase, but it's a tasting menu that just blew my mind. It was at Joël Robuchon's restaurant and it was just the first time that I had French food."

Now, she has her eyes set on a few dream getaways that range from beachy to metropolitan to glacial. "I'd want to go somewhere tropical, like Fiji, and just completely veg out, or I want to do something really fun and go to Japan. But my ultimate dream place, and it's on my bucket list, is Iceland. I want to do the whole sitting outside all night waiting for the Northern Lights," she says.

Wherever her next adventure takes her, Song will be traveling in style — the London Tipton way.
"I don't think anyone could ever beat her airport 'fits," she recalls of the fashionista globetrotter she played during her Disney Channel days on Suite Life of Zack and Cody. "But, I truly have tried to go back to dressing up for the airport and putting my best foot forward, just because it makes me feel better. I used to be like, I'll throw on my sweats. Nothing wrong with that, but for me personally, in this phase of my life, I've really tried to put a little more effort into [dressing up on travel days] again. So I guess Ms. London Tipton is re-inspiring me."
