Surprise! Myha'la is married!

The 29-year-old actress, whose full name is Myha'la Herrold, revealed on Monday, Jan. 5, that she secretly wed actor Armando Rivera a year ago.

In a joint Instagram post sharing several photos from their big day, Myha'la and Rivera celebrated their first wedding anniversary.

"One year of marriage ♾️💍," Myha'la wrote in the caption. "Sos if this is how you're finding out, promise we didn't tell most everyone 😗."

The Industry star then thanked her "incredible" photographer, Quil Lemons, and "speedy" officiant, Jordan Plutzer, before expressing her gratitude to her loved ones."Endlessly grateful to our friends and family for helping make this day so very magical," she wrote.

For her intimate ceremony, Myha'la wore an ivory halterneck dress with a sheer floral shawl. She accessorized with lace gloves, open-toe strappy high heels and a beaded bracelet. Meanwhile, Rivera opted for a black suit with a white undershirt and matching black loafers.

It's unclear where the ceremony took place, but the photos appear to be inside a home decorated with an array of white flowers and candles. The newlyweds posed with two fluffy cats in addition to several loved ones, most of whom dressed in black.

Myha'la is best known for her role as Harper Stern in the drama series Industry — the fourth season of which premieres on HBO on Sunday, Jan. 11. Several costars wished the bride congratulations in the comments section of her post.

Myha'la and Rivera announced their engagement via Instagram on July 17, 2024, sharing two photos flashing their matching chunky silver engagement rings.

"It's clipped for the rest of yall! Soz!!! <333 I love you @rivmando forever!" the Bodies Bodies Bodies star wrote at the time.

The couple started dating shortly after they met over Instagram DM in late 2020. In November of that year, Rivera congratulated Myha'la on Industry's first-season success. The following month, he asked her if he could interview her over Zoom for a journalism college class assignment, per an interview published in W Magazine in February 2023.

"I was alone in the pandemic. The show had dropped, and I was still alone. I was getting some messages, so I was like, 'Let me just say thank you and be nice.' I tried to weed out the ones that I thought were going to end up being creepy and invasive. His was one I responded to. I just said, 'Thank you,' " Myha'la recalled to the magazine. "The next morning, I woke up to this string of video messages, and I thought, 'Damn it, I knew it was going to be creepy.' But I went back to his profile and I was like, 'Oh, maybe he's cute. He seems relatively harmless.' "

She continued, "I thought, it'll be five, 10 minutes, whatever. And immediately I was like, 'Whoa, you're so hot and nice!' We talked much longer than we expected."

After the pair's instant chemistry call, they "started doing little FaceTime dates" and eventually met in person in January 2021.

Myha'la told W Magazine, "All my friends were like, 'Are you insane? Meeting a complete stranger alone, what are you doing?' But I was like, 'I got vibes, it's going to be fine.' We saw each other and we gave each other a hug and said 'hi.' There was all this anticipation, but it felt really natural and normal ... We were inseparable from then on."
