Bling Empire star Lynn Ban died on Monday, Jan. 10, after brain surgery following a ski accident. Earlier in the month, an 18-year-old died after hitting a tree at Rose Mountain in Tahoe — the third skiing fatality in young men in just two weeks. Ski accidents lead to around 40 deaths a year in the U.S., according to the National Ski Areas Association. The main cause of fatalities on the mountain is blunt force and head trauma from hitting trees high speeds.
