Katie Holmes was seen in midtown New York City on Friday morning. The Rare Objects director had on a beige button-down top over a graphic Patti Smith T-shirt, blue slacks and Mary-Jane flats. She held onto a brown leather Khaite purse as she chatted on her cell phone. This comes after she revealed how she is spending her time after her 18-year-old daughter Suri Cruise left for college at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
