Week 14 features a packed afternoon slate with two huge divisional matchups headlining. In the early afternoon window, it's the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens in a fight for first place in the AFC North. In the late afternoon portion of the day, the NFC North-leading Chicago Bears travel to Green Bay in another first-place showdown.
In the first of two matchups over the final five weeks of the season, Pittsburgh and Baltimore come into this one tied at 6-6 atop the AFC North. The Ravens have turned their season around, going 4-1 since Lamar Jackson returned in Week 9. Pittsburgh has gone the opposite direction since starting 4-1 and has lost five of its last seven games.
Aaron Rodgers missed a game due to a fractured left wrist, and the Steelers' offense has been up and down over the past month. The loser of this one will need a miracle run to make the postseason.

- Mon, December 8, 2025 at 4:10 AM GMT+11Yahoo Sports StaffKyler Murray 'will not play again this year,' per Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon
Kyler Murray won't play again for the Arizona Cardinals this season, head coach Jonathan Gannon told reporters on Friday.
Murray has been on injured reserve since early November with a foot injury he suffered in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans, the last time he played this season.
"He had some more tests done this week, went out of state, got another opinion on it," Gannon said Friday. "It's not progressing where it's gonna make sense that he can go. So he's gonna be done for the year."
This will kickstart questions about Murray's future with the Cardinals, who drafted him No. 1 overall in 2019. Gannon and current general manager Monti Ossenfort were not with the franchise then, nor when Murray signed a five-year extension in 2022.
Does Gannon expect Murray to be with the Cardinals in 2026?
"I'm worried about the Rams right now, honestly," he said when asked Friday, adding that he's "disappointed" in the news.

Mon, December 8, 2025 at 4:05 AM GMT+11Andy BackstromSteelers won't fire Mike Tomlin this season but will reportedly have to make call on team option by March
The Pittsburgh Steelers haven't fired a head coach midseason since 1941. That won't change this year, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, who reported Saturday that, although the Steelers won't fire Tomlin this season, they will have to make a call on the team option in his contract by March 1.
That deadline could mark an inflection point in the future of the Steelers organization. While there are two years remaining on Tomlin's contract after this season, Pittsburgh has to decide if it wants to pick up the option that would extend Tomlin's tenure through 2027, per ESPN's report.
If the Steelers don't pick up that option, Tomlin will enter the 2026 season on the final year of his contract.
And if, say, Pittsburgh wanted to trade Tomlin, it would need the coach's permission, according to Schefter, who noted that Tomlin has a no-trade clause in his contract.

- Mon, December 8, 2025 at 3:52 AM GMT+11Kate MagdziukAdam Thielen to make Steelers debut in Week 14
The Pittsburgh Steelers made a shakeup at wide receiver this week.
Second-year wideout Roman Wilson is officially inactive, with wide receivers making their debut with the franchise — Adam Thielen, who was acquired via waivers this week, as well as Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who was elevated from the practice squad on Saturday.
Thielen, a two-time Pro Bowler, has just 69 receiving yards, two years removed from his last 1,000-receiving-yard season.
Valdes-Scantling, meanwhile, reunites with Aaron Rodgers, with whom he played in Green Bay. The pair have connected for 118 receptions, 2,091 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.

- Mon, December 8, 2025 at 3:45 AM GMT+11Kate MagdziukTee Higgins to make his return from concussion Sunday
The Cincinnati Bengals — and Joe Burrow, in particular — got some good news ahead of Week 14's contest with the Buffalo Bills.
WR Tee Higgins has cleared concussion protocol and will make a return to play Sunday after missing Week 13 with a concussion. He suffered the concussion in Week 12 attempting to make a catch in a tight window against the Patriots and was carted off the field.
It will mark the first time since Week 2 that the team will have Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins all on the field. Burrow made his return to play last week from a toe injury that he suffered back in Week 2, throwing for 261 yards, 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions against the Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving.
The Bengals are six-point road underdogs to the Bills at BetMGM, with the highest point total of the week at 55.

- Mon, December 8, 2025 at 3:35 AM GMT+11Kate MagdziukBucs will have to wait another week for Mike Evans return
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially activated the 21-day practice window for star wide receiver Mike Evans this week, but he's not quite ready to make his return from a broken clavicle suffered in Week 7.
Evans was ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Saints.
Evans was a limited participant in each of the team's three practice sessions this week, a positive sign of his trending in the right direction toward a late-season comeback.
The team must activate him to the 53-man roster ahead of Week 16's matchup against the Carolina Panthers, or else he'll be done for the season.
Unfortunately, Evans' injury has put his streak of 1000-receiving-yard seasons to bed — barring a very, very unexpected finish to the year. Presuming a Week 15 return, he'd have to average 215 receiving yards per game to surpass 1,000 receiving yards to maintain his streak.
Evans is tied with Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice for the most consecutive 1000-plus receiving-yard seasons at 11.
Rookie Emeka Egbuka leads the team with a 52-791-6 line this season, but has been quiet as of late. He hasn't exceeded 32 receiving yards since Week 10.
