When the topic of coffee preferences came up, Sweeney revealed, "I have never had coffee"

Sydney Sweeney surprised Amanda Seyfried with an admission about her coffee routine — she doesn't have one.
The two actresses, who costar in the thriller The Housemaid, got to know each other better while participating in a new installment of Instagram's "Close Friends Only: Speed Round."
"How do you take your coffee or your tea?" Sweeney, 28, asked Seyfried, 40.
"A very large black coffee," Seyfried responded, to which Sweeney replied, "Nice.
Seyfried then asked Sweeney to spill on her own java preferences, which prompted an unexpected answer.

"I have never had coffee," the Euphoria star revealed.
"Okay. Well, there's still time," the Mean Girls alum noted.
This isn't the first time Sweeney has stated that she's never had a cup of joe.
"I've never tried coffee before. I just drink water," she explained to the Wall Street Journal in 2024. She went on to share that her go-to breakfast is "a berry bowl. Maybe some granola, bacon, a croissant, but I always go to berries."

Sweeney made the revelation after being asked if she is really able to function on two hours of sleep per night.
"I sleep however many hours I get in a night, but I'm known for being able to function off of very, very little for a very long amount of time," she said.
The pair's upcoming movie, based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Freida McFadden, stars Sweeney as newly hired live-in maid Millie and Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar as her wealthy employers, Nina and Andrew Winchester.

Sweeney and Seyfried recently told PEOPLE they bonded quickly while filming the movie.
"We related over people experiences," Seyfried said.
"It's easy to support you. I also probably give way too much unsolicited advice, 'This is what I would do,' " the Mamma Mia star added.
"No, but I appreciate it," said Sweeney.
"I knew she appreciated it, but I was also like, 'Take it with a grain of salt!' " Seyfried joked.
