A CHIME customer warned others after her account was abruptly closed, leaving her without access to her money.
Iinka had been banking with the company since 2017 without incident.
Then, last month, her account was closed without warning.
"If you bank with Chime, be careful!! I've banked through them since 2017, and I have NEVER had a problem until today," she wrote in a Facebook post.
"Chime closed my account. Any money in my account I'm unable to access and any future deposits or money sent I'll have no access to!"
When she tried to call and speak with a representative, she was referred to the "Chime Bot" instead.
Since Chime is an online-only company, there are no physical branches she could have gone to for help.
In the comments, people shared similar experiences with the bank.
"The same thing happened to me a few months ago," wrote on person.
"I went to go check my account because I was expecting a deposit to hit, and it said that I can no longer access my account.
"I've been dealing with it since December, and every time I try to get a hold of someone I can understand they want me to speak to a computer."
Another person said: "They did that to me too last year, and I've been trying to get access to my account ever since I lost so much money, and they never told me why."

However, it provides banking services through The Bancorp Bank, N.A. and Stride Bank, N.A., both FDIC members.
CLOSING ACCOUNTS
Similarly, a Chase customer had their account closed without warning and wasn't told why.
"My 'checking' account or everyday account has been held with Chase," Josh Pugh wrote on his blog.
"And the money that I use to pay for everything has come from this account."
His paychecks were deposited into his Chase account, and his credit cards and other bills were being paid from that account.
Before this incident, Josh had no issues with the account and was very fond of the bank.

</div> </div> "However, this time, when I called, after confirming my identity, I was told, 'Chase is ending its relationship with you; your account will be closed within 10 business days," he said.
"'This is a final notice. There are no further comments or notes on the account."
He said he was "flabbergasted" and was convinced it was a mistake.
Josh went to a Chase branch in person to try and get more information, but he was told the same thing over the phone.
He was ultimately forced to find another bank.
Another Chase customer had their account closed due to a "skimming" incident.
Plus, a Capital One customer claimed they were "cheated out of" a $300 bonus from the bank.
