A "FREEZING" beer pageant has been dubbed the "worst occasion ever" after being in comparison with Glasgow's infamous Willy Wonka experience.
Punters have slammed a booze-up in Manchester after paying almost £40 to take a seat in an "deserted, empty warehouse" that had no environment.




International Brewing and Cider Pageant& (IBC) hosted their first occasion within the city over the weekend.
But bosses have since been pressured to apologise for the automotive crash expertise at Mayfield Depot.
Matt Turner-Allen, who paid £38.50 to attend, was only certainly one of a handful of ticket-holders on the "vibe-less" event.
Describing it as the "worst occasion ever by a country mile", Matt contacted IBC on X/Twitter before likening the occasion to Scotland's 'Willy Wonka' fail.
He stated: "It's an previous brick construction at the end of March, which whether it is packed is ok but this was simply not the fitting venue.
"I texted my boss in Glasgow, and I stated this is the Willy Wonka festival of Manchester.
"I have young youngsters and I've to be selective with my nights out, so it was an enormous disappointment."
The Willy Wonka pageant up north hit headlines last month for its disastrous turn-out.
Families paid £35 for what was presupposed to be an "immersive expertise" which turned out to be a near-empty warehouse within the city centre.
Mother and father and youngsters have been greeted with "tragic" actors, "disappointing" props and shambolic backdrops.
