THE dad of a three-year-old boy killed after being run over by a tractor has been charged with manslaughter.
Albie Speakman died shortly after being hit by the car on the family farm in Bury, Manchester, on July 16, 2022.



His dad Neil, 38, has now been charged with gross negligence manslaughter, Higher Manchester Police confirmed as we speak.
Mr Speakman, of Bentley Hall Street, Bury, will seem at Manchester Magistrates' Courtroom on April 16.
The opening of an inquest into Albie's dying in August 2022 revealed he had died of a head damage.
Police detailed at the time how his family had flagged down an ambulance while driving him to hospital, however the teenager died on the roadside.
His mum Leah previously paid tribute to her son, describing him as a "little sunshine boy" who "beloved to play".
In an emotional statement launched by police after his demise, she stated: "Albie was an extremely loving, affectionate and caring boy who just needed everybody to be completely happy.
"He was so sensitive and needed everybody to be ok, particularly the folks that he beloved.
"He beloved to play – whether it's together with his family or pals at nursery – he would all the time look for little round things wherever he went, stones, polystyrene balls, bouncy balls and beads.
"I'm unsure why but he just beloved something round, he would simply hold onto them."
She added: "I will miss absolutely every thing about Albie, his voice, his smile, the odor of his pores and skin and the texture of his little palms on my face when he would say 'I really like you mummy woman'.
"I'll especially miss happening adventures with Albie, anyplace and in all places we might have enjoyable; nothing will ever fill the entire that he has left in our hearts, we're broken beyond restore."
