The director behind the explosive documentary *Corey Feldman vs the World *is shutting down the actor's claim that he was not aware of the film or involved in its production.

Last week saw the release of the doc, which follows Corey Feldman as he tours the world with his band, Corey's Angels. At one point in the film, Feldman claims that his frequent collaborator and late *The Lost Boys *costar Corey Haim "molested" him during the production of the popular 1987 vampire flick. Feldman's attorneys subsequently shared a statement with ** clarifying his comments, stating that Feldman was not involved in the making of the documentary, and claiming the footage was obtained "through dishonest means."

On Tuesday, director Marcie Hume argued otherwise, sharing a video of Feldman and herself in a parking lot during his tour in which he expresses enthusiasm for and awareness of the project. The clip, shared to Hume's Instagram page, was accompanied by a lengthy caption.

"Filming intensely with Corey Feldman was to watch him battle the world. This is no longer just a metaphor: It's the foundation of why this film is titled *Corey Feldman vs. the World*. I somehow never imagined that he would so fully turn that same reflex on me," Hume began. "The exact same suspicion, flattening of nuance, and the insistence that anything complicated must be an attack. I should not feel shocked, but I somehow held hope that he would see the care that went into this film. Somehow, I always hold out hope for him."

Hume then explained that her team decided to release the video in direct response to Feldman's claim that he "does not know how we obtained the footage."

She continued, "This is a small, plain glimpse of the reality of filming with Corey and of the relationship that existed while making this film. That time was challenging but also often positive. If you have not seen the film, I can almost guarantee it is not what you are expecting. Even now, even with all the noise, I find him endlessly fascinating. I still have genuine care for him. Even if, for the moment, he seems to have forgotten that we decided together that I would make this documentary."

In the newly released clip from Hume, Feldman playfully takes control of her camera, holding it selfie style so they are both in the frame as he narrates, "Here's the deal: So Marcie's on the bus with us because Marcie is the documentarian who's making the film you're watching. Now that she's living the life with us, she is part of the adventure whether she likes it or not. You can't just be a bird on the wall, or a fly on the wall, when you're living it."

In an additional statement shared with EW, Hume said, "Whatever Corey feels about the film is only one layer in a much bigger, more complicated story. The film itself holds the full experience: messy, nuanced, both hilarious and heartbreaking. I hope viewers look past the noise and see the complex picture. Corey's response is simply one more beat in a story about what happens when any of us are asked to face our own image. There's more in this film than the headlines could ever hold."

About an hour into *Corey Feldman vs the World*, the actor alleges that Haim, who died in 2010 at 38, "molested" him when the then-teenagers were shooting* The Lost Boys*.

"I hold myself partially responsible, because I didn't tell him no, or I didn't stop them from doing what they did," Feldman says in the footage. "I mean, I did set it up. I called him and said, 'Come over.' But you know when you've got somebody that's trying to come on to you sexually, and you don't want that, and you're a kid, and you're scared, you do whatever you can to stop it from happening, and that's what was happening. I was being molested by Corey Haim, truth be told."

Feldman's attorneys subsequently said in a statement to EW that his comments were "in reference to Mr. Haim's advances, not physical molestation." Alleging that the documentary and subsequent media coverage distorted their client's words, they added, "Mr. Feldman makes no claim that Corey Haim physically 'molested' him."

As for claims that the footage was obtained "through dishonest means," lawyers representing the documentary responded with the statement, "All footage used in this film was obtained lawfully and with Corey Feldman's express written consent. In addition to providing signed releases and complete documentation, Corey was consistently involved throughout production and repeatedly invited filming to take place, as viewers can clearly see in the film itself."****Lawyers for Feldman did not immediately reply to EW's request for comment regarding Hume's video.**

For Harry Potter alum Harry Melling, being in a major film franchise at the beginning of his acting career wasn't so magical.

The actor appeared as Dudley Dursley in five Harry Potter films, from when he was 10 years old until he was 21: 2001's *Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone*, 2002's *Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets*, 2004's *Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban*, 2007's *Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix* and 2010's *Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1*. But as he looked back on the start of his career in an interview with *The Hollywood Reporter*, he revealed his struggles with being "shackled" to a major franchise.

Melling, 36, opened up about how he doesn't "want people to know" him, which is why he's taken on such different roles post-Potter.

"It's very contrary to what this industry wants you to be, and that for me is the biggest compliment someone could ever pay me," Melling said. "I don't want people to have an understanding of me prior to — I mean, obviously I kind of f---ed it up doing Harry Potter."

Melling continued, "But I really don't want people to have an understanding of who I am going into a movie. I want them just to see the character, which is maybe why it feels eclectic and you can't pigeonhole it."

Melling added that he was "a wee babe, really" when he starred in the Potter films, "but people hold onto that."

Referring to a recent interview where he had said he's "spent [his] entire life running away from" Harry Potter, Melling admitted he "said it in a jokey sort of way."

"But yeah, to establish yourself so early as in this huge franchise — it was never a destination," he explained. "At 10, or whatever, there was so much more to do. In a weird way, I knew that getting trapped within the child-actor thing was not going to allow me to do the other things that I wanted to do. Now I do theater and work with the likes of the Coen Brothers, work in America, and do so much work in U.K. independent film."

Melling wondered if he does "so much" because he had a constant internal drive to "keep going" and "don't fall into" being pigeonholed as a child actor.

"Sometimes child acting can get a negative stigma," he said. "I just never wanted that to be me. I didn't fall in love with being in Harry Potter. I fell in love with the concept of people being many things, and that's the thing that I wanted to spend my life doing. That felt very precious to me and was something that I really wanted to have a go at doing in my life."

How 'The Queen's Gambit' star Harry Melling went from 'Harry Potter' to prolific character actor

Melling remembered being surrounded by so many "incredible stage actors" on the set of Harry Potter movies, which helped instill a love of theater in himself from a young age.

"Even when I was doing Harry Potter, I was obsessed with theater," he said. "A lot of the more senior actors in the Harry Potter world were all these incredible stage actors — and I wanted to have that career. Then going to drama school changes what you want in coming out the other side. But at the same time, Harry Potter is this huge, huge franchise, and I never wanted to be in any way shackled to it. I always wanted to have a really big career and try lots of different things."

Since wrapping his time in the Harry Potter world, Melling has gone on to appear in multiple Coen Brothers films, including *The Ballad of Buster Scruggs*, as well as *The Queen's Gambit, The Pale Blue Eye,* and most recently starred opposite Alexander Skarsgard in the gay BDSM rom-com *Pillion* (releasing in the U.S. on Feb. 6, 2026).

Melling recently shot down speculation that he would return to the wizarding world for HBO's upcoming Harry Potter TV series in an interview with* British GQ *in November (child actor Amos Kitson is taking over the role of Dudley).

"I don't think so," he said when asked if he would return. "I think it's great it's getting done again. If they wanna tell the story in another way, it's an amazing opportunity to have... Because it's serious, right? They have more time to tell the story. I don't know, in a strange way, I feel that I've spent my entire life running away from it. It kind of is the fire under my belly."

The actress shared some photos on Dec. 31 on Instagram to mark the happy occasion, declaring in the caption, "Happy new year guys!! Hopping for a peaceful and healthy new year for all of u🙏🏼❤️."

In the first photo, Vergara posed by herself in a black strapless dress. The gown featured a structured, corset-style bodice with a deep-V neckline and a unique matching skirt. She added a sparkling bracelet on one wrist, while her hair was parted in the middle and worn straight.

Other pictures in the update showed Vergara with some influential friends who were equally dressed up for the celebration, including Serena Poon, a celebrity nutritionist and chef, Anastasia Soare, the founder and CEO of the popular cosmetics company Anastasia Beverly Hills, and Norvina, Soare's daughter and the president and creative director of Anastasia Beverly Hills.

Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, Vergara's son, was also at the gathering, as well as a bunch of other friends. In one photo, Vergara added a long black fur coat to her outfit as the large group of people posed outside. The actress didn't share where exactly she was for NYE, but there was dancing and drinking at the fun party.

Fans rushed to the comments to wish Vergara a happy New Year, celebrating the holiday with her.

Kind replies included, "May you be in perfect health, happiness, and brilliance every year," and "Happy New Year Sofia! Wishing a safe and happy year for you and yours!"

Others praised Vergara and admired her fashion, writing, "Stunningly beautiful," and "Always looking elite 🔥."

Vergara appeared to have a good 2025, with the actress continuing her run as a judge on America's Got Talent, while she also did voice work in Koati, the animated series.

Next up, she's filming the new movie Thumb, about a woman whose world gets turned upside down when she finds a person's severed thumb in her mailbox. Along with Vergara, the movie stars Milly Alcock, Awkwafina, Kate McKinnon, Hannibal Buress and Michael Zegen, according to IMDb.

Aside from Thumb, Vergara isn't officially signed on to any other projects, so fans will have to wait and see what else is in store for the actress next year.

Elsie Hewitt is being candid about her first New Year's Eve as a mom!

On Wednesday, Dec. 31, the newly minted mom, 29, shared a series of photos on her Instagram Stories that offered a peek at how her holiday looks different with her baby daughter, Scottie Rose.

"What are all the new parents doing this nye? Is it sooo different than past new years?" she captioned a filtered selfie.

Hewitt made her point clear with her two following posts, the first of which showed her fully glammed for last year's end-of-the-year celebration.

"Me last new year's eve," she wrote over a snap of her posing with black and gold foil door streamers.

In the photo, Hewitt wore a black ensemble with flower cut-outs. She styled her in a tight bun and wore gold eyeshadow and a glossy red lip.

The model then shared a photo of her New Year's Eve this year. The bare-faced mom grinned while snapping a selfie with her baby in a crib behind her. Also present in the photo was a stroller and a nursing pillow.

"Me this new years eve," Hewitt captioned the post, adding a teary-eyed smiling emoji.

Hewitt and Pete Davidson, 32, welcomed their first baby together on Dec. 12. They shared the news on Instagram nearly a week later. "my best work yet, i am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief," the mom captioned the post, which featured several photos of the couple and their newborn.

Hewitt had a rocky first few days of motherhood, as she revealed on her Instagram Stories that she needed dental surgery to remove a wisdom tooth shortly after giving birth.

"who else had to get a wisdom tooth removed directly from the hospital the day after they gave birth" she wrote over a selfie of herself and her daughter in the back of the car.

On Dec. 26, Hewitt showed off her post-baby body with a bathroom mirror selfie in which she wore a black T-shirt and a pair of postpartum underwear. She wrote over the image, "Adult diapers all day (& night)."

She added: "My sister asked me if I pee in them & if ur wondering the same thing the answer is NO LMAO."

Sources previously told PEOPLE that Hewitt and the Saturday Night Live alum are "settling into a rhythm" after welcoming their daughter.

"Being home has been really special for them," the source said. "They're settling into a rhythm, taking everything day by day and just enjoying getting to know their daughter. It's been a lot of firsts, but it's a really happy, exciting time for both of them."

Jack Black went back to Nickelback while promoting *Anaconda*.

While discussing his new comedy with Paul Rudd during an interview with IMDb, the *School of Rock* star asked, "What was Nickelback's biggest hit?"

After the interviewer and Rudd had moved onto the next question, Black stared into space for several seconds before belting: "This is how you remind me of what I really am."

Black went on to sing several more bars of the band's 2001 single "How You Remind Me," substituting numerous forgotten lines with gibberish and scatting. The *Kung Fu Panda* star held the final line of the chorus for longer than Nickelback vocalist Chad Kroeger did in the recording, prompting Rudd to exclaim, "He held that s---!"

Black was extremely satisfied that he was able to enter his mind palace and access the forgotten memory of the Nickelback track. "I went into a coma," he told Rudd of his pause before singing. "You were talking by yourself, looking to me for help. I was like, 'I can't. I'm trying to remember Nickelback.' I'm so glad, that's such a relief."

The *Minecraft Movie* star acknowledged that he totally derailed the flow of the interview.

"He had moved on to the next question. But I went back to Nickelback!" he said.

"He'd moved onto the next *press junket*," Rudd joked.

Black also jokingly played up his lyrical recall skills.

"Amazingly, I got every lyric right," he said.

"How You Remind Me" was Nickelback's biggest hit. The single reached the No. 1 spot on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, and Billboard later revealed that it was the No. 45 song of all time in the history of the Hot 100.

Black previously teased a standout scene from *Anaconda* in a behind-the-scenes clip provided exclusively to **.

"The boar on my back — I know it sounds ridiculous, but I'm telling you, it's magic," the actor said of a scene where a boar carcass is strapped to his back as bait for the titular reptile. "You know how they have the running of the bulls? This is like that, but it's the running of the snake."

Rudd also emphasized that that particular scene was a highlight of the production.

"It's always fun when you read a script, and there's some scene that is funny, or I'm really excited about doing, and then you do it, and it's not how you imagined it — it's better," the *Ant-Man* star said. "I'm watching him going, *Oh my God, I can't take my eyes off this*. *This is so funny*."

*Anaconda* is now playing in theaters.

Age is nothing but a number for George Clooney and the rest of the original *Ocean's Eleven* crew.

On Tuesday, the 64-year-old actor gave a hilarious update on the long-awaited sequel film *Ocean's 14,* the fourth in the franchise that reunites him with Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, and more.

Since it's been so long since the first heist movie came out in 2001, Clooney revealed the upcoming film will definitely lean into that passage of time for the main characters.

"There was something about the idea that we're too old to do what we used to do, but we're still smart enough to know how to get away with something, that just appeals to me," Clooney told *Variety* in a cover story published online Tuesday.

The sequel, which hails from franchise creator and director Steven Soderbergh, features the *Jay Kelly* star once again as criminal mastermind Danny Ocean, along with Pitt as his best friend and right-hand man Rusty, Damon's younger pickpocket Linus, Cheadle's demolitions expert Basher, as well as Julia Roberts as Danny's love interest Tess.

Andy Garcia also reprises his role as slick businessman and casino owner Terry Benedict, though details are top-secret on whether he'll be friend or foe to the rest of the crew.

"They've lost a step," Clooney said of the original crime crew in the upcoming sequel. "And they need to find a way to work around their limitations."

Clooney told the outlet that instead of reviving the franchise for nostalgia, he was inspired by Martin Brest's 1979 comedy movie *Going in Style* about a group of aging criminals. Audiences can expect to see more of an older but wiser crew in this *Ocean's* movie as a result.

He added that they are currently scouting locations for the film and hope to start shooting in October 2026.

The *Ocean's* movies — *Ocean's Eleven, Ocean's Twelve* (2004), and *Ocean's Thirteen* (2007) — were based on the original film from the '60s, featuring members of Frank Sinatra's Rat Pack. There was also an all-female 2018 spinoff *Ocean's 8, *starring Sandra Bullock as Danny's sister Debbie, along with Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Mindy Kaling, and Anne Hathaway.

In addition to *Ocean's 14*, a prequel movie is currently in development centered on Danny's parents, starring Margot Robbie as his mother. Bradley Cooper is reportedly in talks to join the *Barbie* star in the movie.**
