Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage is staging a major family reunion.

Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that Young Sheldon's late father, Lance Barber, will return as George Cooper for an upcoming season 2 episode airing this spring.

While details are being kept under wraps as to how the deceased dad will appear, it's likely either in flashbacks or similarly to how he appeared in season 1, episode 12, when Georgie (Montana Jordan) saw visions of his father when he was sick. That storyline was inspired by creator Chuck Lorre's real experience of dreaming about his own father.

Young Sheldon's beloved patriarch, George Sr., died of a heart attack near the conclusion of that Big Bang Theory prequel series, and his loss has loomed large throughout both spinoffs.

But it's not just George Sr. making an appearance. Season 2's 18th episode will also feature other Young Sheldon alums in guest roles, including Zoe Perry as Mary, Raegan Revord as Missy, Rex Linn as Principal Petersen, and Doc Farrow as Coach Wilkins.

They join previously announced Young Sheldon alum Annie Potts, who is also returning in Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage — albeit a few episodes sooner, as Connie a.k.a. Meemaw shows up in episode 15, airing April 9.

Meanwhile, Matthew Letscher will also return in episode 18 as Georgie's business rival, Fred Fagenbacher.

Jordan previously told EW that it was weird not seeing Barber at the head of the Cooper family dining room table in scenes. "It always is, man," he said in October 2025. "Anytime there's not a pile of food on the other end of the table, we know Lance is missing somewhere."

But the Georgie & Mandy star loves getting to work with his Young Sheldon family again, any chance he gets.

"Anytime that we get to have any of the Cooper family back on set, it's always a blast," Jordan said. "We had a great family dynamic behind the scenes on that show, as we do on this show, so anytime we can bring them back, we're always welcoming them."

It's not rocket science, but here's a refresher for those who need it on the extended Big Bang Theory franchise. Young Sheldon told the story of the early years of Sheldon Cooper, the main character in The Big Bang Theory. Jim Parsons played Georgie's younger brother, Sheldon, on the hit flagship series from 2007 to 2019, before Iain Armitage took over the role as the prequel version on Young Sheldon. Georgie & Mandy, of course, now tells big brother Georgie's story.Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage season 2 returns Thursday, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.

Worry not, "Stranger Things" fans, as there are more Hawkins adventures to be had.

Netflix announced an animated spinoff of the recently ended cult classic on Monday, Feb. 2, called "Stranger Things: Tales From '85." Set between Seasons 2 and 3 of the main show, the new series will follow the original characters we know and love as they "fight new monsters and unravel a paranormal mystery terrorizing their town," according to the show's logline.

Specifically, it captures the chaos that followed after Eleven closed the gate at Hawkins Lab in the Season 2 finale.

"We get to spend time with these kids in a way that you did not have time to in the flagship series," showrunner and executive producer Eric Robles said in a statement. "We were able to freeze time and really go on these never-before-told adventures with them in this timeline."

Here's what to know about watching the series.

Murals of "Stranger Things" characters adorn the walls of a building on Jackson's Square, which served as the setting of downtown Hawkins.

We all think we know the story of "Oedipus," the guy who killed his dad and slept with his mom.

But if Robert Icke's pulse-pounding Broadway production is any indication, Sophocles' 2,500-year-old Greek tragedy still has the ability to shock. Lesley Manville, who costars with Mark Strong in the play, recently recalled to Stephen Colbert the verbal reactions she hears from audiences as the political drama hurtles toward its dark, unsettling finale.

"It says something a bit sad about us as a culture, that a lot of us feel we have to pretend we know the story of Oedipus when we don't," Icke says. Sitting in the theater, "the way that people are gasping and knocked off their perch suggests that they can't have known the story. And that's OK! It doesn't always have to be that everyone has read every work of literature ever. God knows I haven't."

Oedipus (Mark Strong, left) and wife Jocasta (Lesley Manville) make an appalling discovery about their relationship in "Oedipus."

Icke's adaptation sets the action in present day, as politician Oedipus (Strong) and his wife, Jocasta (Manville), await the results of an election, which he's expected to win in a landslide. But anxiety sets in as they camp out in campaign headquarters with their grown children: First, as a blind intruder (Samuel Brewer) crashes the party and delivers a grim prophecy; and second, as Oedipus' mother (Anne Reid) delivers the startling news that she is not actually his biological mom.

Harrowing revelations about corrupt leaders, child rape and grooming come to the fore, and a stop-clock on the back wall counts down the minutes and seconds until the play's most paralyzing realization.

"These Greek myths are so powerful because they're so unflinching in terms of what they talk about," Icke says. "It's a story that reminds us that we don't really know ourselves, and that's the existential terror that these characters are in. The terrible cost of actually finding out who you are can really devastate you."

In writing this modern version of "Oedipus," Icke was largely inspired by the 2016 U.S. presidential election between Donald Trump and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. As most Americans can recall, Clinton was widely expected to win going into the night.

A monologue late in the play reveals that Jocasta (Lesley Manville) has been holding onto horrific trauma from childhood.

The idea of her confined to one place, forced to reckon with the results, seemed to lend itself well to a play like "Oedipus."

"I remember there was a delay in Hillary making her concession speech," Icke says. Presumably, "she was in her hotel suite with Bill and her team and her advisers, and they were trying to work out what to do. I remember thinking, 'That's one of the rare moments for a global political figure where she really is stuck.' When she comes out, it's either going to be to concede or to challenge, but there's no avoiding that situation."

The Clintons have recently been in the headlines, as they agreed to give depositions to a House committee about accused late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

Bill Clinton is among the political and business leaders who socialized with Epstein and showed up in the Epstein files. He is not accused of wrongdoing, and the Clintons have they said had nothing to do with Epstein for more than 20 years.

Robert Icke, left, Lesley Manville and Mark Strong attend the opening night celebration of "Oedipus" on Nov. 13, 2025, in New York.

Icke says that Epstein "wasn't a particularly huge story" when he first mounted this concept of "Oedipus" in Amsterdam in 2018.

"But obviously now, particularly for American audiences, and with the news being what it is, there's this monologue (in the play) that feels very resonant with that situation," Icke says. The former first lady recently came to see the show, "and I'd love to know what went through Hillary's mind as that story unfolded in lots of different ways."

Icke has reimagined a multitude of classic dramas throughout his career, and will next stage "Romeo & Juliet" with Sadie Sink and Noah Jupe in London's West End beginning next month. For the British writer and director, putting a new lens on old stories is part of the "glorious tradition" of theater.

"You look at the pleasure people get out of 'Wicked': You know 'The Wizard of Oz?' What if we look at it from here and maybe we'll see something completely different," Icke says. "There's a healthy mixture of being entirely present in the now with what's happening in the world, but also acknowledging we're part of a continuum that connects us with an audience who sat in Athens to watch a play two-and-a-half thousand years ago.

"There's something amazing about that."

"Oedipus" is now playing through Feb. 8 at Studio 54 (254 W. 54th Street).

Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City had something for everyone. There were cheating rumors, a magical trip to Greece, and, allegedly, Meredith Marks had a meltdown on a plane and slammed Britani Bateman. Of course, Meredith denied the claims. However, most of the rest of the cast, including Whitney Rose, doubled down on their version of events.

Plus, Whitney and her husband, Justin Rose, faced marital difficulties. Whitney was candid about the failure of her business and the financial and marital stress that resulted. And Whitney's emotions were laid bare on the RHOSLC reunion stage.

Is Whitney Rose returning to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City for Season 7?

View this post on Instagram

In addition, Whitney and Mary Cosby were concerned about Meredith's mood swings and behavior. However, Meredith denied having any issues at all. Still, with Season 7 looming, there have been rumors of a cast shake-up, which Meredith fully supports. "I think it would be great to have a little bit of a cast shakeup," Meredith previously stated. "I don't know what that means for who or what, but I do think it would be positive."

Well, Whitney hit up Instagram and dropped a post with a possible hint about next season. In the photo, Whitney looked glam in a white dress with a beaded, high neckline. "Seven has always been a lucky number," she captioned the photo with a star emoji. Of course, the comments came to life at the thought of Whitney gracing RHOSLC Season 7.

Real Housewives of Dubai alum, Chanel Ayan, wrote, "Yes the queen is back." A fan commented, "Can't wait for season seven. Another follower wrote, "Seven as in season 7?! OMG YES." However, not everyone was thrilled that Whitney might be a Season 7 cast member. "Please tell me she's not back? Snooze," one user wrote.

Of course, Bravo has not confirmed the cast for RHOSLC Season 7.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is streaming on Peacock.

It is uncanny how accurate the second season of Fallout reflects the current political climate in the US. That's something which has star Walton Goggins a little spooked. In an interview, Walton admits that "the symmetry is unnerving and really unsettling" to the reality of American politics today.

The second season of the Amazon Prime Video show continues the story set in the wasteland of post-nuclear America. The series is set two centuries after the Great War of 2077.

Fallout Season 2 is "not a political show," says Walton Goggins

Photo Credit: Phillip Faraone/Getty Images for Prime Video

The latest season of Fallout may have plenty of parallels to the current political climate, but Walton insists it's merely a coincidence. "We're not a political show," Walton told DECIDER. Walton does acknowledge how people might see it that way, however.

According to Walton, the storylines in season two are more an example of life imitating art and vice versa. The show is based on a video game. He says that the season was bound to address current events in the US, even though that wasn't their intention.

The show may not be political in his eyes, but Walton has often spoken out about political issues. Among them were the ICE killings in Minnesota from January. He's among the many celebrities who expressed disgust in that matter.

Last November Primetime Emmy Award nominee made headlines by going nude for a GQ photoshoot. He says that was "his idea." Walton said that while filming Cooper's flashback scenes during season two, he realized how oblivious his character was. His character must face some hard truths in the season about how little he can control. In 2024, he was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Fallout.

The show has been renewed for a third season while season two is currently streaming on Amazon Prime.

TELL US – DO YOU BELIEVE THE PARELLS BETWEEN FALLOUT'S SECOND SEASON AND THE US POLITICAL CLIMATE ARE PURELY COINCIDENTAL?

Bad Bunny is set for the Super Bowl halftime show, but is he bringing anyone with him to the world's biggest stage?

The Puerto Rican artist's performance has already caused much debate, but fans are looking forward to a performance that could unify, shut down his critics, and bring Latin music to an even bigger audience. The NFL has its bets on the 31-year-old helping globalize the Super Bowl, too.

And with up to 15 minutes to kill (some double headliners have gotten as low as 12 minutes to split), it's almost guaranteed the "Tití Me Preguntó" singer won't be alone.

While longtime collaborator J Balvin has cleared up rumors that he would hit the stage following the pair's post-feud reunion, other former collaborators and friends have neither confirmed nor denied making appearances.

Our dream Bad Bunny set list: What songs will Bad Bunny perform at the Super Bowl?

Cardi B

Though the Bronx MC is nearly three months postpartum, she's also gearing up for her first headlining arena run in six years, the Little Miss Drama Tour, on Feb. 11. The pair also have a hit record – "I Like It" with Balvin – that will let the "Up" rapper dip her toes in the Super Bowl field, after she turned down the honor in 2019 to rack up "more hits" and experience performing.

From left, J Balvin, Cardi B, and Bad Bunny perform onstage during the 2018 American Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on Oct. 9, 2018, in Los Angeles.Jennifer Lopez and Shakira

In a throwback to Bad Bunny and Balvin's special guest appearances during Jennifer Lopez and Shakira's coheadlining Super Bowl performance in 2020, the rapper could offer the same invitation. Lopez and El Conejo Malo previously collaborated on the 2018 Latin trap hit, "Te Guste," which could slot in nicely with the singer's career-spanning set.

JLo currently has a break amid her Up All Night Las Vegas residency; however, Shakira will be preparing for the second half of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour with multiple dates in El Salvador. Still, the trio may not want to pass up making Latin history again.

Colombian singer Shakira and Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny perform during the Pepsi Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show at Hard Rock Stadium on Feb. 2, 2020, in Miami.Rauw Alejandro

With two reggaeton collabs under their belt – 2022's "Party" and 2024's "Que Pasaría..." – Bad Bunny and Rauw Alejandro could bring the globally dominating genre to the biggest stage in American music. Rauw also hit the stage during Benito's record-breaking Puerto Rican residency in 2025, in a highly anticipated appearance that also saw the "Todo De Ti" singer play his biggest hits.

Marc Anthony

Grammy-winning salsa legend Marc Anthony could make his way to the Super Bowl stage to perform his 2018 hit with Bad Bunny (and Will Smith), "Está Rico." An appearance from the Spanish Harlem native, a mainstay of the '90s and the top-selling salsa artist of all time, would help bridge generations of Latin music.

Bad Bunny, left, and Marc Anthony perform onstage during the 19th annual Latin Grammy Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Nov. 15, 2018, in Las Vegas.Maluma

Maluma and Bad Bunny have so far never shared the stage before and have only officially collaborated on the remix to Maluma's track "Un Polvo" in 2016, so this one is a bit of a reach. However, the Colombian singer has been supportive of Bad Bunny, including making a cameo at his residency, and he's not unfamiliar to American audiences, having collaborated with the likes of The Weeknd, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna and Ricky Martin.

For Bad Bunny, every album, every tour and every day is a new opportunity to reach new career heights. In November 2025, the Puerto Rican reggaeton superstar kicked off his 24-date DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS world tour with back-to-back nights in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Then, in December, her performed more shows in Mexico City before kicking off the new year in Santiago, Chile, and then making a quit pit stop back in the states to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show in February. Scroll through to see some of the best moments from Benito's world tour, which is sponsored in part by Hennessy. Ivy Queen

Reggaeton icon and pioneer Ivy Queen has performed with Bad Bunny on multiple occasions, with the rapper crediting the Queen of Reggaeton as a major inspiration. "I have a little piece of Ivy in my musical DNA," he said at the Billboard Women in Music Awards, while presenting the icon award to his fellow Puerto Rican native. And the Super Bowl wouldn't be the first time the pair performed together: The "Queiro Bailar" singer performed her verse on the remix to Bad Bunny's track "Yo Perreo Sola" at the award show, as well as during a few of his World's Hottest Tour dates in 2022.
