Taylor Swift Had Blunt Reaction to Wake-Up Call From Travis Kelce's Brother

Taylor Swift had a blunt response to brother-in-law Jason Kelce 's early morning request for a gym buddy.

"The funniest story I got to tell some friends today was that I got a call at 7:30 in the morning," Travis Kelce began the Wednesday, October 21, episode of the siblings' "New Heights" podcast , referring to Jason's "Squatober" workout endeavor. "I knew Jason was doing Squatober, [and] he actually asked me how much weight I had in my basement."

After Travis, 37, told Jason, 38, how many weights were in his at-home gym, the former Philadelphia Eagles athlete decided to bring his own during his recent visit.

"He flew to Kansas City with 50 pounds," Travis recalled with a laugh. "It was absolutely hilarious, the most meathead thing I've ever seen Jason do. I get a call at 7:30 in the morning; in my mind, I'm thinking [about the] worst case scenario. I'm like, 'Oh, s***. Is everything OK?' Maybe after the run, Jason [went] to the hospital and blew his knee out or some[thing]. I don't know. I was [thinking about the] worst case scenario, like, the brain was just waking up."

Instead, Jason merely wanted his younger brother to "come spot" his workout.

"I was like, 'Cool, I'll come down,'" Travis explained on Wednesday's episode. "I was walking out of the room [and] Taylor's like, 'This is f***ed up.' I'm like, 'Nah, this will be good. It'll be good.'"

Swift, 36, and Travis have been together since 2023. They married three years later on July 3, celebrating at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

"[Our] wedding was the best night of my life. I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us," the Kansas City Chiefs tight end gushed during an August press conference . "That's about all I really got from that night. It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration."

The tight end was particularly starstruck to exchange vows in such an iconic venue.

"It's kind of cool to get to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in," he added at the time. "I can't thank the owners of MSG [enough] for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing that we wanted a private event and everything."

Swift and Travis said "I do" in a star-studded ceremony, with their brothers joining them at the altar. (Taylor's brother, Austin Swift , served as her man of honor opposite Jason as Travis' best man.)

"It was a special event for our entire family, and obviously, my daughters are incredible," Jason told reporters at the American Century Championship in July, revealing his four young daughters were the flower girls. "They're beautiful, they're incredible personalities, and Travis and Taylor love them. So, very happy we were able to be a part of it. And more importantly, very happy for those two. It was an amazing day."
