Kerry Washington stunned on the red carpet at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on October 17.

For the star-studded night out, the Scandal star wore a sleeveless lace dress dripping in silver sequins.

She paired the glittery, see-through ensemble with $125,000 in pavé diamond jewelry, including white-gold earrings and matching rings.

Kerry Washington made an extravagant entrance at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on October 17. Surrounded by fellow stars dressed in faux fur and sparkles, the Little Fires Everywhere star stole the spotlight in a lacy naked dress that sparkled from every angle.

The centerpiece of Washington’s enchanting red carpet look was a silver evening gown with an intricate lace design by Elie Saab. From the high, halter neckline to the scalloped hip accents, the mesh fabric was dripping in sequins. As a finishing touch, the luxurious dress also boasted gray velvet bows around the neck and waist, making Washington look like a gift on the red carpet.

Like a twinkling star, the actress’s see-through gown shone under the flash of the cameras as she made her way into the high-profile event. Her stylists, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, completed the outfit with a crystal clutch by Tyler Ellis and strappy peep-toe heels in silver by Jimmy Choo, per photos posted to Instagram.

Washington also rocked $125,000 in pavé diamond jewelry by Boucheron, including a pair of diamond earrings resembling leaves of ivy on a vine from the jeweler’s Nature Triomphante collection. She paired the earrings with matching ivy-themed rings and a milky manicure.

Always ready to embrace a bit of sparkle, this isn’t the first time Washington has illuminated the red carpet with her scintillating sense of style. Notably, she turned heads a year earlier in a strapless sequin dress while attending the Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery opening gala in London on October 8, 2025.

Washington’s floor-length Oscar de la Renta gown featured an invisible corset and hundreds of miniature crystals arranged in a scalloped pattern from the top of the bust to the hem of her skirt. She accessorized with silver hoop earrings and matching rings.

More recently, the Scandal star shone like a fairy-tale princess at the grand opening of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles on September 19. Washington’s enchanting ensemble, a look from Wiederhoeft’s Spring/Summer 2026 runway collection, consisted of a glittery pink corset top with romantic rose appliqués along the bust and a floor-sweeping jersey skirt in heather-gray. Washington completed the dreamy outfit with metallic platform heels and a pink crystal clutch.
