Victoria Beckham spices up her after-show champagne at Paris Fashion Week... with a dash of her new £170 perfume (à la Chanel!)
As a leading designer, Victoria Beckham has a nose for a good idea. And faced with promoting her new perfume at her Paris Fashion Week after-show party, she scented an opportunity. On Friday night, the former Spice Girl served guests champagne infused with her latest fragrance – a feat attempted before only by Chanel. The glasses of Perrier-Jouet champagne had an edible dash of her opulent new perfume. It is thought Chanel's Cocktail No 5 in 2009 – created from the iconic Chanel No 5 – is the only precursor to this.
