Chelsea have reportedly agreed to terminate the £100,000-a-week contract of French defender Malang Sarr 12 months early. Sarr, 25, signed a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge when he arrived from Nice in August 2020. That contract was therefore due to expire at the end of the 2024-25 season. But Chelsea have decided to let him go on a free transfer this summer, according to The Sun. Sarr is now expected to return to Ligue 1, with L'Equipe recently claiming he was close to signing for Lens.
