Joel Kim Booster Has No Plans for Fire Island Sequel for Now (Exclusive)
Summer is almost here, but Joel Kim Booster has no plans to revisit Fire Island — at least on screen. Kim Booster, 36, who wrote and starred in the breakout 2022 LGBTQ+ film, says he focused on other projects rather than a Fire Island follow-up. "If the idea of a sequel comes to me, I will in a heartbeat dive back into that world and those characters," Kim Booster told PEOPLE exclusively at the Gold Gala earlier in May.
