COSTCO is known for its 100% satisfaction guarantee, but members are now calling each other out for taking advantage of the store's generosity.
Shoppers have reported seeing each other make outrageous returns, from half-eaten meals to sofas to TVs.

The Reddit community r/Costco is an unofficial place for both shoppers and employees to vent about all things Costco.
Lately, it has become awash with members and associates calling out the most ridiculous returns they have ever seen, including both successful and unsuccessful refund attempts.
Costco has a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
That means any item can be returned at any point for a full refund for any reason.
However, employees can use their discretion if they think a member is abusing the policy.
DINNER WINNER
That didn't stop one shopper from getting their money back on a half-eaten turkey dinner.
"I was walking by membership/returns on my way to the food court and noticed not just one, but two whole turkey carcasses," a shopper wrote in a Reddit post.
"Along with obviously opened boxes of stuffing, cranberry sauce, silverware, plates, etc.
"Basically, the leftovers of a full-on meal and all accessories for 20-30 people, obviously eaten and returned."
The Redditor said the "absolutely nuts" customer was given a refund after they told the associate at the desk they "weren't happy with the purchase."

Shoppers were also shocked to see a woman get a full-refund on a three-quarters-eaten pecan pie.
According to a Redditor, she bought the bakery item back two days after Thanksgiving, saying it was "too sweet."
She got her money back, but only to the annoyance of other members.

Another member called a fellow Costco goer "an absolutely psychotic human" for returning a 22-year-old TV.
As of 2007, Costco has implemented a 90-day limit on returns for electronics items.
But the store may honor the request for an electronics refund if the purchase was made before 2007.
SOFA DUMPED
One customer, however, found themselves on the wrong side of Costco's policy when they tried to return a 15-year-old sofa.
After their return was denied, they dumped the furniture outside the store, photos on social media showed.
"I hope Costco cancels their membership for ditching their c**p at the store," demanded one of their fellow members.

PLAY TIME
Another customer who decided to push Costco's policy to the extreme returned a 15-year-old playscape.
The member told the returns desk he didn't need it anymore now his "kids are grown up now and out of the house," an employee wrote in a thread.
"It's maybe a bit ridiculous, but it's a perk of having a membership with us!" they wrote.
CROWN JEWELS
The biggest refund amount reported on Reddit is $44,000 for three pieces of jewelry.
However, the customer was banned from making jewelry purchases again, according to the post.
