AN Applebee's restaurant in New York is to close in just days after more than a decade of serving loyal fans.
The family-friendly establishment in Hudson will shut up shop for the last time on May 19.

Officials for the franchisee revealed they had loved serving diners in the area for 15 years, per the ABC affiliate WTEN.
They added they had appreciated customers flocking through the doors over the years.
"We hope to see you at our neighboring restaurants throughout the Albany and Hudson Valley markets," a spokesperson from T.L. Cannon told The Daily Gazette last month.
Workers to be impacted by the shutdown have been offered new jobs.
But news of the closure has caught fans off-guard.
"We've never had a bad experience there and the staff was always so friendly and always good service!" one diner said.
"My son will be sad.. he liked it there," a mom added.
Diners said they feel bad for the workers who are to be impacted.
Others commented online they needed to go back one last time to enjoy their restaurants.
The U.S. Sun has approached Applebee's for comment.

The chain could suffer a net loss of restaurants ranging between 25 and 35.
Tony Moralejo, Applebee's president, said closures were a last resort.
Hundreds of Applebee's restaurants have closed in recent years.
It is not the only restaurant chain that has endured closures.
In February, bosses at Bloomin Brands revealed Outback Steakhouse locations across the country would close.
Execs revealed there would be 41 restaurant closures in total across its portfolio of chains.
Bloomin Brands also owns Bonefish Grill and Carrabba's Italian Grill.
Chiefs at the fast food joints In-N-Out and Denny's have closed restaurants in Oakland, California, as crime rages in the city.
And a Joe's Crab Shack restaurant in Deptford, New Jersey, is also set to close.
