AN anti-knife campaigner who impressed a BBC present has died aged 61.

The ex-prison chief set up Eastside Younger Leaders' Academy in 2002.
The programme, in Forest Gate, East London, gained 270 students locations at faculties together with Eton, Rugby and Stowe.

His work inspired this yr's BBC Three comedy drama Boarders about 5 inner-city teens being provided scholarships.
